Hello, nice to find this community. I got thrown off DemocraticUnderground for daring to not be in the tank for Obama, so I decided I'd go somewhere fun instead.

To introduce myself, my name is Kyle Raccio, and I am running for DNC Delegate in the 8th Congressional District of California in San Francisco. That's Nancy "Gobama" Pelosi's district. If any of you live out there, please come out to the caucus on April 13th from 2pm-3pm at 1621 Market St (Plumber's Union) in San Francisco and caucus for me!

I would love to be a Hillary delegate because I dare to defy the stereotypes. I'm a male (gasp!) and I'm 21(:OOOO). So your support would be appreciated, let me know if you're coming!

By the way, I just contributed to the fundraising goal. Glad it was exceeded.

Never give up until the final vote is cast!

Welcome abroad Hillary supporter.

How do you run for delegate. Do you know if it the same for all states.
I live in TN.

In California, any registered Democrat can file for delegate candidacy under the presidential campaign they support. Then, the candidacies are pre-approved by the presidential campaigns. Each congressional district holds a caucus on April 13th and elects a certain number of delegates from each one.

As for Tennessee, the party website said delegates were already selected. I don't think the process is the same in every state. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

In Ky, we voted precinct chairpeople last Sat., tomorrow we vote for our country chairman and electing delegates. The guy told me that if I got elected delegate, I would be taking ten votes with me to convention. I have never done this either, but I figured if I got elected, they dang sure wouldn't intimidate me!

Hey, nice to see you here. I'm a guy too (gasp!?!?) and I can't vote yet so let's just say I'm close to 18 but not quite. So yea, welcome. :)
