I just wanted to let everyone know that this campaign WILL go on to the great state of Pennsylvania. I was just at an event here in Bucks County yesterday morning. At 10am on a Saturday, they packed a room in the municple complex of Richboro with people wanting to volunteer. They had delegates from all over the county there and Denene Wambach who is a deputy in the campaign. She's from this area and said she'd been to Nevada and California and had just gotten back from Texas and Ohio where she said "Things are going SOO WELL" I'm telling you, this was amazing to be a part of. People signed up to house organizers when they come in next week. They have two offices right now that opened yesterday, one in South Philly and one in Pittsburgh. And they are going to be opening an office in Bucks County. Our congressman here, Patrick Murphy, just last week endorsed Barack Obama. Two years ago, both Bill and Hillary came to small Bristol Borough to campaign and fund raise for him. He should be ashamed of himself. But what we're trying to show is that Hillary will win HUGE in Bucks County (which she will) to send him a message that he made a BIG mistake.

The crowd was mostly made up of older people, men and women, but a few young people were there too. And man, Hillary has a lot of PASSIONATE supporters!! The discussion was heated, ranging from the media bias, to sexism, to how she should have defined her Iraq vote better. But I left there so freaking energized it was incredible!! I took signs, pins and stickers for my family and friends. I live in an apt but I took a lawn sign for my parents and this morning my dad said "Brooke, take your sign" I said "You don't want it?" He goes "It does no good here in NJ, she already won here" LOL. He had a point but I don't have a lawn!

Anyway, I just wanted to try to let everyone know about the positive energy going on here and that lots of people are feeling good about Tuesday. I figure they wouldn't be so quick to mobilize here if things were looking grim, right?

This whole experience for me personally is incredible and very emotional. I have been on this journey with Bill and Hillary for 16 years and that no matter what I've done in my life, it always comes back to them and my passion for politics has been rooted in it. Not to mention my enormous faith in that everything is going to be okay. And that I don't believe God would send me down on this emotional trip down memory lane for nothing. That there's meaning to it all.

There's also a personal significance to April 22nd being our primary (that I can't really get into) but I have reason to believe it's a good omen.

I'm keeping the faith and doing everything I can to help.

This is such awesome news!!!! Very glad to hear that things are already starting up in Pennsylvania. It's definitely encouraging againsted a media and party that is ready for her to throw in the towel. I'm glad that she's so passionate about keeping on and to keep fighting!

I'm in Virginia, but if anyone from this area heads up to Pennsylvania to help out, let me know. I'd love to go be apart of things up there and do what I can for Hillary and get more votes out for her!!!!

Thanks for the first hand report and look forward to hearing even more news from the state!

Now we just have to tell Bill Richardson & co to STFU and let this nomination process take its course!!!! Let people in all states have their say! Sick and tired of these people trying to get Hillary to "drop out" and give Obama a FREE RIDE! Like hell!!!

My pleasure!! And I'll let everyone know things as they develop. When I heard the list of organizers coming here on Wednesday, I got chills. I can't believe this is going to actually be happening. I just feel so passionate about it.

There's over a month in between Tuesday and April 22nd which will be great for us, it'll give lots of time to really get organized. We have Gov. Ed Rendell behind us too, he's in OH this weekend stumping for Hillary!

Hi Brooke,
I'm just across the Delaware in NJ and plan to help out in Bucks County. A couple of people I know in PA are leaning heavily towards Obama, but at least they're willing to listen to me about Hillary, so that's a start. I'm hoping they will eventually see that Hillary is the best choice.

Oh sweet!!!! If you want, PM me and maybe we can work together or something. My family is all over in Jersey and they all voted for Hillary on Super Tuesday.

Murray, can we make this topic sticky? I plan on using it to update everyone on the day to day things. Thanks! I can change the topic to PA Primary or something if you'd like.

Update: 3/3

They've set up a Phone bank in Center City today to make calls to Ohio and Texas. It's from 9am-9pm. They will be running it tomorrow as well. There is also going to be a results watching party at a restaurant across the street.

Since I have to work, I obviously can't make it but have been making calls to TX and OH on my own and will try to make a few more tonight.

When I woke up this morning, I was still on a such a high from this weekend that the thought of having to go to this dead end temp job today killed me. But I don't get time off and I need the money, gotta make ends meet somehow in this shitty economy where I haven't been able to find perm work in a YEAR. It's a gorgeous day here too so it's making me angry I can't just quit this job and volunteer full time..lol.

It iS simple. To stop these idiots from saying HILLARY SHOULD DROP OUT is a big win in PA. We must work night and day and day and night. Let's all do a road trip.
