I am just not into listening to the whole schemele so what happened?
Okay forced myself to watch as nobody responded to my question and obviously why. This is more an anti Clinton than anything. And against Fox who has basically been the only program who has told the truth on Obama to this point. Not funny. The 8 years of Clinton's presidency were the best of times for all.

Dicky was kind of like pandering to us. I didn't like it.
Now if he regularly uses it and labels oblahma dicky, I can go with that. However, I feel a little pandered to. I will have to watch more to see if it is genuine humor or veiled humor. Just my opinion!

Hey, TWFBeer! How the heck are ya? I was just about to PM Murray to see if he knew if you were OK. Happy and relieved to e-see you! :) I'll go check out the link after I finish freaking on Bill Maher. Thanks!
P.S. I watched. Sounds sincere to me.

I don't see it as anti clinton in the least. I thought it was pretty straight forwardly saying that it was sucky of the Obama camp to try to preoccupy people from Pres Clinton to see Dave. Most of the young college folk would probably rather see Dave Matthews in concert over Bill. Sneaky, slimy tactic... hence the "Dick move of the week".

I'm still here!! I mostly lurk, learn, and research... my job is keeping me very busy. When I write blogs, it takes lots of time and thought on my part, so I'm not able to devote so much during our busy times, sadly.
I'm on the board every day, however!! Can't do without my Hillary fix!

Right. He was trying to lure people away with a nonpotable form of Kool-Aid. Despicable. And I think Jon sincerely sees it that way, too. I have to give him a thumbs-up for calling Hobama on it.

Just found this:
Fellow blogger and Harrison Co. GOP Chairman Scott Fluhr has filed a complaint with the Indiana Election Commission against the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama for offering free tickets to a Dave Matthews concert at IU's Assembly Hall last weekend in consideration for students registering to vote for Indiana's upcoming May 6 primary. Specifically, Fluhr's complaint alleges the Obama campaign violated IC 3-14-2-1, which prohibits “payment of any property” of value in exchange for applying for an absentee ballot, casting an absentee ballot, registering to vote, or voting. Fluhr's complaint reads:
During the week of March 31, 2008 to April 5, 2008, the Obama for America campaign and its agents distributed tickets to a concert by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds to be held at Assembly Hall at Indiana University Bloomington on April 6.
It is clear that these tickets had value; they were even being sold on eBay after they were given out for free. Based upon my information and reasonable belief, arising from publicly-available information...

did anything come of this legal complaint? this only proves that BO doesn't believe in free elections.

About time somebody stopped him. And the Republicans are looking at this and hopefully wondering what he will do to them....It will be a blood bath - think Odinga.
