An interesting Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_Intelligence_Service_%28Russia%29)) report prepared for Prime Minister Putin circulating in the Kremlin today states that Obama’s top spy chief Admiral Dennis Blair (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_C._Blair#Testimony_on_use_of_assassination_ on_United_States_citizens) abruptly resigned (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100520/ts_afp/uspoliticsintelligenceobama_20100520222050) on Friday after the US President ordered the “immediate assassination” of an anti-government dissident and his 16 year old son in the US State of Arkansas.
As the Director of National Intelligence, Admiral Blair controlled 16 US spy agencies (http://www.dni.gov/) (including the Homeland Security Department, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Coast Guard) and had warned the US Congress this past February that for the first time in American history Obama’s government was asserting the right to assassinate any American citizen (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/license-kill-intelligence-chief-us-american-terrorist/story?id=9740491&page=1) they deemed was a terrorist.

um, not sure what to make of the article or the source. it looks a conspiracy theory to me. I doubt these 2 idiots were big enough on Obama's radar to order any assassination attempt

We only know for sure that he ordered Alawari's (sp) assassination. Guess we should find out more information on this latest news.
Blair resigned for some reason. Or, is it that BHO asked for his resignation?

We only know for sure that he ordered Alawari's (sp) assassination.
And I wholly am disturbed and totally disagreed with this as well but 2 crackpots running a scam don't seem too likely a target for government assassination. Also, the article links parts from infowars which is notorious for Truthers as WND is for Birthers.

Poke around at the link and check out the Restore America Plan, being promulgated by the elders of the Guardians of the Republics.
Familiarize yourselves with the ultra-right-wing Sovereign Citizen movement. Remember the Freemen in Montana?
There is a big crossover/merging of the Sovereign Citizens and the Birthers.
They're claiming that 90% of the military will rise up NEXT WEEK and throw Obama out of office, take over the government, and fend off the New World Order.
These people are dingbats for the dingbattiest of the dingbats.

Actual news story from the Boston Herald:
Ohio man, son killed after Arkansas cops fatally shot
By Associated Press
Saturday, May 22, 2010 - Added 22h ago
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - An Ohio man’s resentment of authority and run-ins with the law was enough for a local sheriff to warn that he could be dangerous if confronted by law enforcement. Years later, the sheriff appears right: The man and his teenage son are suspected of fatally shooting two Arkansas police officers during a traffic stop before they died in a shootout.
Jerry Kane Jr., 45, of Forest, Ohio, and his son Joseph Kane, believed to be 16, were killed during an exchange of gunfire with officers in a Walmart parking lot, Arkansas State Police said Friday.
The shootings came about 90 minutes after West Memphis police Sgt. Brandon Paudert, 39, and Officer Bill Evans, 38, were attacked with AK-47 assault rifles after they stopped a minivan on Interstate 40 in West Memphis on Thursday, authorities said.
Jerry Kane, who had a long history with police, used the Internet to question federal and local governments’ authority over him and held debt-elimination seminars around the country. He recently complained about being busted at a "Nazi checkpoint" near Carrizozo, N.M., where court records show he spent three days in jail before posting a $1,500 bond on charges of driving without a license and concealing his identity.
Sheriff Gene Kelly in Clark County, Ohio, said he issued a warning to law enforcement about Kane in July 2004, after Kane said a judge tried to "enslave" him when he was sentenced to six days of community service for driving with an expired license plate and no seat belt. Kane claimed he was a "free man" and asked for $100,000 per day in gold or silver, Kelly said.
"After listening to this man for almost 30 minutes, I feel that he is expecting and prepared for confrontations with any law enforcement officer that may come in contact with him," Kelly wrote in his warning to officers.
Kelly told The Associated Press on Friday that he had been "very concerned about a potential confrontation and about his resentment of authority."

Thank you greenleaf.
But if you read the link I gave, the Sovereign Citizen loonies are claiming that the cops shot first at the initial traffic stop.
And I'm not even going out on a limb, predicting that they will believe and promote that idea FOR EVAR.

I agree. It's getting harder and harder to locate "real" information from far left and far right zealots. It concerns me.

License to Kill? Intelligence Chief Says U.S. Can Take Out American Terrorists
Director of National Intelligence Says Intelligence Community Can Target Citizens Presenting a Terrorist Threat
By JASON RYAN
Feb. 3, 2010
The director of national intelligence affirmed rather bluntly today that the U.S. intelligence community has authority to target American citizens for assassination if they present a direct terrorist threat to the United States.
Information gained from the Christmas Day bomber has officials on high alert.
"We take direct actions against terrorists in the intelligence community; if … we think that direct action will involve killing an American, we get specific permission to do that," Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair told the House Intelligence Committee.
Rep. Peter Hoekstra D-Mich., addressed the issue at today's hearing.
"The targeting of Americans -- it's a very sensitive issue, but again there's been more information in the public domain than what has been shared with this committee," he said.
"Whether that American is involved in a group that is trying to attack us, whether that American has -- is a threat to other Americans. Those are the factors involved." Blair explained. "We don't target people for free speech. We target them for taking action that threatens Americans."
According to U.S. officials, only a handful of Americans would be eligible for targeting by U.S. intelligence or military operations. The legal guidance is determined by the National Security Council and the Justice Department. You have me totally confused. Are you against or for this policy? Do you not believe it is our policy? Do you not believe that is the reason he quit?
I believe it is our policy but is not the reason that he resigned.
