Next Goal - 3500 Members (by June 30)

As March 4th fast approaches, I am doing all that I can, in my own small way, to contribute positively to Hillary's campaign. My main activity is maintaining this forum and providing a "safe place" for Hillary supporters to base ourselves while we each embark on own individual campaign endeavours. I am trying to make it a place where people can quickly find important campaign info to distribution through our various networks. And it's also a place, I hope, for people to get "fired up" and inspired to get out and help Hillary in whatever ways possible.

Are all of these sub-forums really necessary?

Most messageboards have sub-forums - it ensures that a wider selection of material recieves exposure and it also aids in organizing information. When topics are left in one mammoth forum, great threads very quickly become buried in amongst the masses. An organized, structured forum is more effective/helpful than one where organization and structure are overlooked. It is also much easier for people to pick/choose what they look at if there is some distinction made betwen the different types of contributions made to the forum. Variety is key!

The forum is not a replacement for the official site and people should definitely continue to submit comments to the official site as well as CNN, ABC News and all other sites that accept submissions. That said, one's time must be used constructively. It's not a good use of time to post comments that don't get published! At least in this style of forum, messages appear instantly.
