She's brilliant!! OH, I want her to be our president so badly!!
Is Eva Longoria a supporter?
Thanks for the event reminder :)
Now watching!
She knows so much about so many different topics/issues. It's very impressive. I can't imagine BO being able to conduct this kind of event and speak as knowledgeably as she can.
I loved what former prosecutor Lynne Corsi said about abandoned children in foster care, and Hillary's passionate response. I WANT THIS WOMAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE NOW!!!!!!

How any mother of young children could not hear her message, I don't know!!!
It's clearly an issue she feels very passionately about.
I find Hillary VERY likeable. Politics aside, she's the kind of person that I find appealing.

You and me both!! She worked really hard in the school system in Little Rock and even far before that too. She'll take care of the kids who need help most!!
I love her self-deprecating comments! Quirky and spontaneous!
I like how she just said that when she gets the presidency she will call around and speak to international leaders and tell them "we're back!" :)
I love her self-deprecating comments! Quirky and spontaneous!
And these comments are expressions of her humility and sincerity. Not all people can laugh at themselves and it's nice that she is able to.

Being able to laugh at oneself is a sign of great confidence and she is the Lady to lead us in the right direction. No task too great or small and with the utmost sincerity.
GO HILLARY!!!!!

She was absolutely fabulous. So approachable, knowledgeable, and genuine. I really wish this would've taken place last week, then clips of it could've been aired on the MSM, over and over again.
And yeah, they surely do need to make a video of those incredible centurions! Oops, sorry, the one lady was in her 90's -- she was fantastic!
Video video video!!

Hillary has a 12% lead in Ohio, and has eroded any lead( and I say any) lead Obama may have had the past few days.
Tomorrow is going to be a great day for us, just remember all the way to the CONVENTION!!! with Hillary!!!!!:)

He wouldn't have Hillary there to answer the questions first so he wouldn't be able to answer............

Exactly, can't use "I agree with Senator Clinton" as his answer if she's not there!

This is such a superb performance from Hillary.
She was in her elements and very fabulous.
We are so lucky to have her to fix the mess that Bush will leave us after 8 years.

First, I thought the Town Hall was great, it reinforced my conviction that Hillary is the leader this country needs. And yeah, Eva Longoria is a supporter. I noticed her endorsement of Hillary was announced recently on Hillary's site.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I read an article somewhere (maybe I can dig it up) that Obama is uncomfortable with the Town Hall format. I don't remember why. Like you and others said, it's probably because he doesn't really have sufficient knowledge of all the issues, so he can't be spontaneous. He either needs Hillary or a teleprompter. Even working with notes on index cards, he doesn't perform well. (Saw an article on that, too.) Why does he always have to be scripted?
A true leader should be able to think on their feet and not be afraid to have conversations with the people, like Hillary does.
Go Hillary!

obama can't answer that red phone with the normal line "I agree with Hillary" anymore.

Yes, she really shines in this kind of format, when she doesn't have to waste precious energy arguing with fools! (that would be the debate moderators and/or her opponent). In this format she is free to discuss and draw on her extensive knowledge and political skill and she seems to really enjoy herself, and be really engaged by what she is doing. I wish I had just a snippet of the drive and motivation she seems to have !

I'd really like to see those articles when you have time to dig them up!
The "town hall" format is problematic for Obama for 3 reasons:
1) requires the candidate to have extensive knowledge about a broad range of topics
2) requires the candidate to be able to defend their views in a very public manner without extra assistance (eg from moderators)
3) requires the candidate to be more vulnerable, more accessibe, more sincere and more able to "connect" with people

Extremely well said, and I agree. Every day it becomes more and more apparent how ill-prepared he is to be president.

Well, if I go by my last post, this marks #200 for me on here. YAY! And what better topic than to talk about her Texas-sized Town Hall!
Once again, Hillary Clinton impressed me with her vast knowledge of where she stands and her ability to present it in an intelligent and logical manner. The more I watch her town halls, the more impressed I become. As people deliver questions that matter to them, she handles them with grace and ease. And she's able to interject a little humor at the right times while still maintaining a serious tone. This is what a president looks and acts like!
It was great to see her incorporate some big name celebrities into her town hall event. Obama's not the only one receiving endorsements from outside the political spectrum. Seeing people like Eva and Ted there to help out was awesome. I'm such a fan of Eva and hearing that she was endorsing Hillary was great news. I have a great respect for her. And I've always respected Ted Danson.
I think my favorite moment of the town hall was after things were "over" and she took a few more questions. When the man stood up to ask a question on behalf of the child with cancer, it touched me so much! And then the child calling her "Madame President" was amazing. I could tell Hillary was touched and that showed. Yet another moment when she shows that she's human and cares about the people that she interacts with.
Hillary Clinton is the clear choice as the best person to lead this country. And it starts with the Democratic nomination. Here's hoping that America realizes that while speeches sound good and "rock stars" have their "concerts," America really needs a compassionate leader with experience, knowledge, intelligence, and is able to convey all those to the public. This town hall just solidifies me even more and I'm hoping that the voters on March 4th become solidified for Hillary Clinton as well!

I noticed this last year when I began paying attention to the Hillary Clinton Campaign. Hillary Clinton listens well. She really listens. She also teaches. When she is aware that the audience are not educated on issues she takes the lead in explaining the issues so that the items of the list are palpable. Much of that time, she spends on orally sharing history so there is background information. Other times, she builds the points. She can weave back and forth and recall what points she made most of the time. Somehow, she recalls what feeling like a n American, middle class person, feels like. She really conveys that although she was First Lady that she does not feel that she is above everyone else as in better than but she acknowledges that she is better off than. That is an elegant quality. She had a really relaxed and fun Town Hall Meeting.
Of course, the best part was when that 91 year old woman gave her the download that she had followed her and prayed for her all those years.
Sean - such a great review. You have really captured very well all of the things I liked about the Texas town hall. I don't even need to repeat them. Just "ditto". Try and submit your view at CNN (dreaded ticker) and ABC News tomorrow as your review offers the kind of praise and exposure Hillary needs. And which the media is not providing!
And congrats on the 200 posts! Your contribution has helped build our own form of "momentum" in here!

I like this review as well. A listener. A teacher. A real person.
She is so deserving of the role of President of the United States of America.
PS - I like your signature quote as well. Is that a Hillary quote or a random one?
