Hi and what happened to blogs at HillaryClinton.com

Hi All! My first time posting to this forum. Great to see a place for Hillary supporters with No nasty trolls in sight! :)

Anyone know what happened to the blogs at HillaryClinton.com? Could not access the blogs all day Monday. Still not up. Seems very odd right before a big set of primaries! Called the Arlington, VA headquarters Monday afternoon. Spoke to someone who said she had received lots of calls, had no idea what happened, and would let the webmaster know. Did the webmaster take down the blogs for maintenance? Unusual timing for that. Could it perhaps be sabotage? :( OK, I'm really Not a conspiracy theory type gal...But...Doesn't the timing of the blogs going down an entire day on Hillary's main website right before the primaries seem suspicious? Anyone got info on this??

Not sure what happened with the blogs at the official website. Some suggested it might have been to do with the airing of the townhall feature - a way to reduce website traffic. But who knows. Bad timing indeed either way! See the link below for more discussion on this issue:

Very good feelings from the final phone calling tonight. And my oldest daughter worked for an hour, too. Results--1 Obama supporter between us. All Hillary.

Also, spoke to a young business man in his late 20's on a personal business issue he was calling for and he was from Ft. Worth, Obama country. I asked him how was the election looking. He said he didn't have a good feeling about it. He was an Obama guy.

Maybe all the work we have all done, and the contributions have reversed the tide.

I'm glad to be here, even though I'm totally confused at how this things works.Forums are really SO MUCH nicer than blogs for stuff like this! And, as Murray said, once you get the hang of it it's very easy to use. If you're running into any problems, just holler and someone will help out! Feel free to PM me if I can help.

I'm so glad to see lots of folks finding their way here from the HC site. When I first saw that my blog was gone I thought they'd deleted it because I kept complaining about my posts disappearing, and/or because I had put up a post about this forum and asked people to check it out. Really, those blogs were a mess...totally out of control, especially because of the Obama-ites. :eek:

I think that we should strategize here and if/when the other old blog area comes back, maybe we should keep that for rotating messages for newcomers so that they can get our information and invites when people really show interest in being part of a strategy of team work across the nation.

I think you are right about strategizing here. I think the blog at the official site got messed up because of all the Obama trolls. I can't get to the groups at the official site either! I hope they get that corrected.

it appears that the blogs were getting abused so they got rid of the entire link.

I agree with their decision to take it away... it was getting hard to get our message out! Clearly the trolls were working in shifts and well, it was becoming (for me) more about defending the honor of my candidate rather than exchanging ideas on my candidate's goals !

I am a big Hillary supporter and so sorry to see the blogs gone. It amazes me that the Obama people think it is more useful to spend their time and talent distrupting our site rather than working for their candidate. I am glad that I found this area to exchange positive ideas and thoughts about our girl. I am so excited about the positive developments of the week behind us and look forward to many more on our way to the nomination. I am active on the other blogs although I do find most of them slanted to Obama. I know we are going to win and when it is all over this campaign is going to go down in history as the most one sided media debacle of all time. I make it a point not to engage the Obama people. I set the record straight citing facts and research instead of the rumors and innuendo coming from the other side. I do have to say however, I did mix it up a little with a young girl who had contended that Hillary should drop out as she could only win on the coast like Ca,NY, Fl and Ohio and only because "old people" were voting for her. I told her that this "old person" did not agree with her politics and before she could argue with me she had to look at a map and let me know exaclty what coast Ohio was on. Got a huge chuckle out of that. Anyway I am looking forward to getting to know you all and onward to November
