I'm watching MSNBC right now and they just said that Obama will speak 10 minutes from now. I hope the TelePrompter is ready! :p
He's on CNN now - what's he going to say if Texas isn't over yet?
New Hampshire? Barack honey......you lost New Hampshire!!!!!!!
Inspire....new chapter....future....zzzzzzzzzz
I love how they keep flashing Hillary's lead in Texas as he talks!!!!!

I couldn't do it! I couldn't watch him speak. I started to, but I am so sick of him and everything about him that I just couldn't do it. *IF* he says anything of substance, would someone kindly let me know?!
Same re-hashed crap, different day!
He's now talking about health care as if it's not a priority on Hillary's list!

Same re-hashed crap, different day!I like that! I may use it on a new anti-Obama design in my shop...but I'll definitely replace "crap" with a little bit STRONGER word! :D

Wow...is it just me or is he SERIOUSLY channeling the late Dr. Marting Luther King?

Wow...is it just me or is he SERIOUSLY channeling the late Dr. Marting Luther King?Well, didn't he put on a fake southern accent when speaking to Southern Baptists recently? So, sure, why NOT channel MLK? Next on his agenda: JFK--can't wait for that Massachusetts accent! :D

Oooh, if that's the case...I hope he gets out of Texas ASAP.

I have to say, his speech is yet more rehashed rhetoric just arranged differently. And personally, I don't like him lumping John McCain and Hillary Clinton together. I have nothing against McCain, but he and Clinton are definitely different.
Also, did anyone else catch the whole "I have a black father and white mother" part? What was the point in bringing up race? Who's doing it now?
Again, he bores me. If that's the voice of change, then I'd rather listen to trance and not hear any voices!

Thanks for the recap. As I said, I simply couldn't stomach watching his speech...so I didn't! I have no idea why he brought up race, but didn't his black father leave when he was young? Weren't they basically estranged? (Or, in my old age, am I getting confused?) So his point would be...what? That he grew up more white than black? Is he now trying to downplay his blackness? I don't get it...

Oh yeah, and how rude of his supporters to boo when he congratulated Hillary on her wins. When she mentioned him in her speech, her supporters didn't boo. Just shows the difference in class between the two camps

I'd have to listen again to how he talked about it. But, from what I can recall, he wasn't saying anything bad about his father or them being estranged. Does anyone else remember this bit of Oblahma?

Pity those poor, classless Obama-ites...

Check out the thread http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net/discussion/showthread.php?t=150 and look at the graphic I did for "Oblahma."

I thought it was too. And then when his happened, and they booed, that was the first thing I caught. I don't think he's the unifier he wants us to believe he is.

Hillary made a brilliant comment in her speech tonight...I wish I could recall exactly how it went. Basically, she was talking about America needing a president who's ready to lead, and that there's no time for speeches or on-the-job training. It was great and really made the point [to those of us smart enough to hear it!] that Obama just can't cut it as president.

I know exactly what you're referring to. That was a priceless moment! If I can find the quote, it's going to become my signature line. :-)

If Obama was in the White House and the phone rang at 3am he'd put the call on hold and go phone Hillary and say - "hey hill, what the heck do i say, there's some guy from Russia on the phone??"!!

Of course, then he would come back to the phone and say "I agree with Senator Clinton." Sadly, the person on the other side of the line wouldn't have heard what Senator Clinton said.

I started watching his speech just to be gracious and respectful, but I stopped after he congratulated Hillary. I almost got sick because you could see in his face that he did not want to be gracious and respectful.
