Tell Dean that you don't appreciate his bully tactics. Add this to his inappropriate comments when you call Dean:
Obama in NC rally (
“To find the locations and the hours of one stop early vote near you, you can call my hotline, which is 1-888-NC-EARLY,” Obama said. “NC EARLY, E-A-R-E, uh, E-A-R-L-Y. I almost pulled a Dan Quale there for a second,” he joked.
Great! This coming from a man who can't speak english.

I told the guy that I felt Hillary was not being treated fairly and that I would not be voting for Obama. He said that the unfairness was being done by the media. I told him that the DNC was not doing anything to assure she got fair treatment.
He asked me what I thought they could possibly do and I told him to count FL and MI. He said he would pass on my message to Dean.

I told them everything I was offended by, his whole speech and demeanor in that speech, that Obama acts like a 5 year old, what I think of the DNC and Dean, what I think about the media and the DNC not speaking out, the Obama supporters actions and vicious complaints about the debate, that Hillary supporters are alienated by them, and that I am through with them, and under no circumstances will I vote for Obama. Also told them I wouldn't send them any money, until the FL and MI delegates are counted, and Dean and Pelosi are gone, and even then, I probably wouldn't, etc.

Just did it! Here's what I said (paraphrasing):
"I am EXTREMELY offended by Obama and EVERYTHING he stands for. I think the way the DNC has treated Hillary Clinton in this campaign is disgraceful. I'm [real age went here--we'll leave it at 40+!] years old and have been a registered Democrat since I was old enough to vote. *IF* Obama is our nominee, I will be leaving the Democratic party; I'll either register as an Independent or Republican. And, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I vote for Obama. If he's the nominee, I will be voting for John McCain."
Then I asked if this would be passed DIRECTLY to Howard Dean, and the woman I spoke to assurred me it would; she said he personally reads ALL comments that come in. I told her that I'd be happy to provide contact info in case anyone wanted to discuss this with me further, then she asked for some demographic info, found me in their records, verified that everything was correct, then thanked me for my comments and again assured me that my opinion would be heard.
PLEASE, everyone, call...call now!! They're actually listening. Now let's make our collective voice heard.

1. I told him that Michigan and Florida was an embarrassment to the party
2. I told him that Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina went early and picking and choosing who gets sanctioned is wrong
3. I told him twisting the superdelegtes arms was non transparent
4. and I told him I'm not giving a cent to the dnc and likely to vote for Nadar if Hillary doens't get treated fairly.. Still won't vote for Obama. His playing of race disturbes my conscience to much...

I told them this all was unfair considering media seems to be crupt !
That his action with the middle finger was childish, immature gesture, that made him look like a teen age Punk that had impulse control disorder ! What if he would have done some thing like this when he was talking about or too leader from another Country ! That this could be disaster and could lead to big big trouble for our Country ! also I brought up the issue of the 3 states that voted earty section( 11 a rules) and that if the Florida and Michigan votes were not counted then the other should not be because this was not fair ! !
I guess we will have to wait and see !
More intriging she told me they had call from some one with same name called in already not sure if thy went for Hillary she did not expose this info . but I may need to have computer cheak done to see if some one piggy backing my Comp !

Called. He basically said he had not seen the video of the finger gesture yet. He said they had to be fair to each party like two siblings that you don't get in the middle of their arguments. I told him but it is not fair. And if it was two siblings wouldn't you also say to everyone...this one is right, he has accomplished these things but don't forget that she has accomplished all these things and many things before the other one was even born. Why shouldn't Hillary's accomplishments made public as well instead of just the negative remarks she is getting. He agreed media bias and will pass on. I also discussed the caucus not being a true count of what the people's votes. As a delegate, I saw first hand the many older people who had to finally leave before getting their vote counted due to the inorganization and lengthy caucus....all with Hillary shirts, signs, etc showing who they are for. The flipping off of Obama supporters to hers, the fact that I am getting emails now from Obama since I got one thanking me for being a delegate at the convention when he should have not had that address or know that I was a delegate. Not just emails...got a post card so he somehow got hold of that list I signed to be a delegate.

I had to get offline to call since I'm on dial-up. I complained about the middle finger gesture and how it was so juvenile. Also brought up MI and FL. Hubby called a pretended he was an Independent and told them now he was sure he would vote for McCain since Obama seemed so inadequate in the debate and now the finger just topped it off along with other blatant lies.

04-18-2008, 06:00 PM
Well I just called, too. Here's what I told the woman who answered the phone (abbreviated version):
That I was so offended by Sen. Obama that I didn't know where to start:
1. Obama flipping the bird in regards to Hillary Clinton in NC yesterday. Nice presidential-like behavior. (She hadn't seen the film of it).
2. His whining about his mistreatment by the moderators in the PA debate. CHILDISH! What does he expect to happen in honest debating?
3. Obama in NC rally - “To find the locations and the hours of one stop early vote near you, you can call my hotline, which is 1-888-NC-EARLY,” Obama said. “NC EARLY, E-A-R-E, uh, E-A-R-L-Y. I almost pulled a Dan Quale there for a second,” he joked. (She said, "What an idiot" and I almost fell out of my chair.")
4. About his offer of a kiss to a woman on the campaign trail in order to get her to change her “Hillary for President” button to one of his. SHE WAS HORRIFIED ABOUT THIS.
5. That Obama kisses women on the cheek when he greets them. That’s a sexual harassment case waiting to happen if he pulls that crap in the WH. I told her to tell Howard Dean to watch some media clips if he wanted proof.
6. Lack of integrity and judgment in his personal and business relationships.
That he was dishonest about those same things
GENERAL COMMENTS:
1. That the GOP will SLAUGHTER Obama in a GE.
Sen. Clinton said it best in PA the other night – she’s got a lot of baggage and people have spent years going through it. That kind of severe scrutiny and public humiliation molds you into steel. She’s still standing. She’s proven she can take the punches of the Republicans and other Dem opponents and keep on ticking – just like the Eveready Bunny. (The woman said "You're right - with her we know what we've got!).
2. Obama on the other hand can’t take a punch without it completely unnerving him and making him irrationally lash out.
3. And Obama's acquired quite a bit of baggage for the relatively short time he’s been on the political scene. They haven’t even begun to expose the majority of it. Rest assured the GOP and McCain will in a GE.
4. And I will be voting for John McCain if it comes down to having to choose between Obama and McCain. NO WAY will I vote for Obama.
5. I have been a Democrat for most of my life but as soon as this election is over I’m registering Independent.
That there’s a whole lot of pissed off women in the Democratic party and we’re going to take our power elsewhere. There is a large conglomerate of women who are striking out to convince other women to join the Independent party. We’re about 58% of the voting group and it’s time we start using that power.
That I'm completely ticked off at the DNC because:
1. The whole FL and MI vote situation. The DNC caused this mess. Other states held their primaries and caucuses early and weren’t penalized.
2. I will not be donating any money to the DNC. I don’t even want to belong to the party anymore. I am ashamed of what it has become. I am not going to be a member of a party that condones the kind of behavior, lack of judgment, and dishonesty that Obama as exhibited.
3. I told her that Howard Dean was a weenie, that I was completely disgusted with him, and that he should resign.
4. I asked her if my comments were going to be given directly to Howard Dean? She assured me they would be. She also said, "Listen I'm not supposed to say anything but I agree with you 100%."
Oh! And she thanked me for being civil, told me the Obama supporters have been blasting the DNC, how hateful and vial they are. Amazing that she told me that!

I told them I read the blogs, I read the forums and you guys up there are in deep trouble. I said you have to seat the delegates from Mi. and Fla. and stop calling for her to step down. He said they weren't calling for her to step down, I said oh yes you are. He said the media hadn't been fair to Mrs. Clinton nor to Mr. Dean. I said well you got one right anyway. About DNC rules re: Iowa and NH. I think, and I could be wrong, that FL and MI are not supposed to go before Iowa and NH. and they tried to. Still, as somewhat posted the other day, the DNC rules, when this happens, state that 1/2 of the delegates are supposed to be seated.

As I read the rules.. The DNC can strip 50% of the delegates if they choose to. They also have the power to strip all the delegates if that is their prerogative. However Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina all went before their assigned date and they received no penalty.. This problem is larger than the former because it shows an inconsistency....

I think the vial behavior of the Obamabots is what is turning the tide (however slightly) in the MSM. They, like their leader, copy other successful agendas. They started emailing and calling the media and DNC to complain. However, they are rude, insulting, and verbally abusive when doing so, hence they turn the very same people they are looking to for help against them. I hope they keep it up They are helping us, Sen. Clinton supporters, we always express ourselves in a positive and respectful manner. Without insults and profanity.

A good long conversation. Lots of points. Told them that we dont let my daughter watch him anymore.. it started when he said the word screwed in the first debate and we had to send her upstairs to sleep after that.. he has a filthy head and it is coming thru..
And by the way, why is he not able to answer Auchi question? I am trying to look up this name and am not coming up with anything nice for the country. This is one more of his friends and supporters, adding to the list of Rezko and Wright??

got poor ryan he is still there, but not saying much. he listened while i ranted that i was deeply offended by the idea that obama might be the nominee. i said the speech incident was the last straw. the man is dangerous, and i cannot vote for him. i am sixty years old and have never voted anything but democratic, but that will change if obama gets the nom. i asked if dean would receive comments and ryan said yes. then i said that the mich and florida issue is making the party a joke. something needs to be done. said hillary has been treated unfairly by dean and if it was obama no one would be asking him to step down. dean needs to just shut up and step back. ryan said nothing, so i asked if he wanted to know where i was registered. he said sure with a tone that told me he was really glad i was probably done and he could soon hang up. lol i told him i had been a registered democrat in the 518 area for forty years. then added that i had voted for kerry whom i really disliked, and i voted for gore, whom i was not that crazy about either. but i voted for them for the party. this election is different and i feel the national security is being threatened by this obama and it has nothing to do with how much i support hillary. it has to do with obama being a dangerous man and that i did my homework on him and his friends, which is more than dean did, or he would have reached the same conclusion as any other sane person and been aware of how appallingly unqualified obama is to run for the president of the united states. then i said thank you for listening, and poor ryan said thank you for calling with your sentiments.. poor guy. well, that's done hope it helps.

I called and left a message for Dean. I also told them that I would not vote for Obama in the G.E. If he makes it. I told them that I was appalled that a seated Senator flipping the bird to another seated Senator as well as the former First Lady of our great Nation. This was embarassing and I wanted to know what action the DNC would take!! I demanded a response to the world that this was unacceptable. I was told by the young man that my msg. would be passed and that there would be a press release about the incident!! I also mentioned seating Fla. & Mi.
My husband called as a vet of Viet Nam and said that this was appalling as well, and that he wanted to know what was going to be done about this. He also said that this man has never held a NATO meeting on Afghanistan. He wanted to know why we should give him a promotion when he wasn't doing the job he now holds. Nation security was being trumped for his promotion to the Presidency!! He left his cell phone number and wanted Mr. Dean to call him back so he could discuss these matters directly with him. He said he will be voting McCain if bo gets the nom. That he was a life long Dem.!!! My husband also said how dare Dean disenfranchise Fl. voters like Katherine Harris in 2000. He quoted the protest sign about Harris and Dean!!

He guys,
I just got Ryan on the phone as well. Poor guy sounds like he's been through the war zone today. I stressed my concern about how a man that can act like that could be a US senator let alone getting a push from the DNC for the nominee of our party.
He apologized, said they have had numerous phone calls on the subject, and they will be addressing it publically soon.
I am so curious about what they are going to say. The important thing is that they will take it public unlike the MSM.
Keep calling we can't let them off the hook.

I called - talked to a real person named Ryan - I told him lots of facts he was not aware of! He said he did have many calls today concerning FL & MI votes. I told him that Senator Clinton is the best candidate and if obama steals the nomination by blocking FL & MI votes - I and millions like me would have to look to the GOP for our candidate and vote of "Change". I told him obama was not electable due to his radical friends and questionable background. I also told him I lived in FL for 22 yrs - and now live in SC - WE voted here on Jan 19 (GOP) and Jan 26 (Dem) and were not punished, so don't believe that FL voted early - so did SC! He said he would make notes and pass my comments on to Dean!

OK so like many of you I'm not the greatest on the phone. However, I have been pushing myself today to call voters in PA, and I have put 3 calls into the the nice gentlemen answering the phones at the DNC. All 3 times I have been promised that the DNC will be holding a press conference to address the "fingergate" issue as they have had numerous other complaints about that today. Surprisingly Dean, who only shows himself when his "golden boy" is in trouble, has not kept to his word.
What I am asking that you do tonight is call the office, and leave a voicemail for him (no live people there...it's Date Night for Dean and Obama). That way when they get in the office tomorrow they can be inundated with more complaints from loyal members of the DNC.
Call 877-336-7200
Please mention the "flicking the bird" incident, and whatever lovely other tidbits you have for this moron (MI and FL are always good).
Just remember, it's fun to ruin Howard Deans sunday morning....hes had fun ruining our party.
Thanks guys

people keep saying he is using two fingers. It doesn't matter, because for one, try it yourself...it is hard to get the index finger to not be there too. plus, if you were flipping somone off and didn't want some to be able to say for sure, but others you wanted them to know...that is how you would do it. no?

But you are supposed to get in the middle of siblings arguements - they need to be controlled fairly. I had always told my family, I would not support one more than the other. They had to work out their problems, and in a serious problem, I would support or speak with neither until they have resolved their problems. If one was being a jerk; I'd tell them they were being a jerk. To not get involved is to enable it.
Johnf

I called in.
obama appears to have paid the media off, not only is there media bias, much of it seems to be corrupt.
Obama's been involved in so many controversial issues from Wright to Rezko, to Nafta, and yet, whenever he gets asked the same questions as Hillary or McCain, and doesn’t perform well, he floods the media with anti Hillary sentiments and flips the bird at her - he misrepresents himself with false statements. It is an insult to America to see that he can buy his way in with lies rather than have to make it on his own credentials - performance, and experience, which he seems to be lacking in. He’s like the Britney spears of politics and we all know how Britney faired.
Mr. Dean. You need to get involved; in the middle of siblings arguements - they need to be controlled fairly. You are supposed to tell your children, you won't support one more than the other. However, you also need to show them if they can't resolve their issues effectively or fairly, you will take tough actions until they work out their problems. If one is being a jerk; it is your job to tell them that - there should be no denying or hiding it. To not get involved is to enable it, to create abuse, bias, favouritism. The very fact you allow this to continue demonstrates a type of parental favouritism and that in government and media are dangerous.
We've learned we can't count on honesty from the media - there 's more accuracy now from bloggers. The media will loose out becuase people are going to stop watching them. Thankfully ABC had the courage to go against the grain and speak up. Up until now, Obama has been overly protected; favoured by the media & some in government which has created an abuse of power. It would be worriseome if he got into power. He’s learned he doesn’t have to answer the questions, doesn’t need to be accountagble, just does as he pleases.

They are still taking calls.
Anyone who has not yet called, can still call in. Leave a message:
I scripted a message, above, and hit on the key points of it when I left the message - an overview,
They need to hear people are upset. Dean needs to know it's his responsibilty to do something here.
Getting involved is a postiive; we prevent the issue from continuing and we call Dean and anyone else who's turned a blind eye to be accountable; lettting them know they have not managed the situation well, etc

Sibling argument? This kind of illogical argument is part of the reason we are where we are today.
Barac Obama is a potential anti-American, anti-white person who associates with terrorists and hate-America people like Wright and Ayers.
THEY DON'T GET IT!!
Not that sibling rivalry is trivial but to put this into THAT perspective is totally ludicrous!
Obama is running for the presidency and we cannot have someone who may be unstable and who certainly has HUGE question marks behind his name in the presidency!
You know, the media makes these types of analogies, comparing this to a game of football or whatever but our country's national security and welfare are in great jeopardy of Obama is the winner!

He guys,
I just got Ryan on the phone as well.
That is right, and they shouldn't stall doing this, after April 22....it needs to be done ASAP, right away before people vote.

You are right, but if he raised the sibling issue, I threw it back at him. Yours is even better, dismiss it as a sibling argument altogether and make him take responsibiltiy and get involved. NOW, not after April 22. They need to take immediate action and apologize and do what they can to ensure the damage is undone. Obama is a detriment to the US.

Just talked to someone at the DNC name John. At the end of the conversation he said he knew nothing about a Press conference when I asked and he also said the DNC party line: "We are not going to get in the middle of it."
I told him that many of us thought he was dangerous, had questionable ideas and had associations with terrorists, anti-Americans, etc.
I told him lots of pertinent stuff and stressed that those who will not be voting for him in Nov. should he win the nomination aren't doing it out of spite or anything except fear of what this guy might do in the Oval Office due to his expressed contempt for whites, possible terrorist sympathizing, etc.
I stressed we will not come together and vote for Obama. Most of us will vote for McCain.
Mentioned seating the FL & MI delegates, etc.
He said he'd pass it along to Dean.
If anyone gets Ryan again, ask him what the press conference will be about.
I can't imagine it being anything against Obama because John said they support both candidates equally (LOL! what a joke).
So, we are all curious to know.
Keep calling!! It's discouraging to hear the same old Dean blather repeated back but at the same time enough calls may get a message through.
I didn't think of it until now but for future callers, you might suggest that they work behind the scenes with the super delegates to help get Hillary the nomination.

If you haven't voted yet, make sure you are still on the rolls just before your cut-off date for registration! In WV it is (can you believe it?) Aprill 22!!

I guess they will notice me...
Here is a close representation of what I said, (changing certain names to protect the innocence of Murray:))
I want to first say that one of your candidates is giving the finger to another of your candidates. I find that to be infantile and rude behavior.
Dean came out early on and said that the way the candidates conducted themselves during this primary would affect our success in the general election once we had a nominee… I suppose at that time he meant, don’t hurt his chosen candidate, obama….He tied Hillary's hands behind her back because he has not chastised obama for all of the negative, derogatory comments he has made toward Hillary Clinton. If she is our candidate in the fall, then he has done damage, not only to her reputation, but he has done all he can to destry the outstanding record of Bill Clinton, the last democratic president, and the representation of what a democratic president offers over a republican one (bush 2 as an example). I hope if your chosen one gets the nomination, is he not going to flip flop and align himself with the democratic record; I suppose will he stay aligned with the republican (bush and reagan--foreign policiy and economics) policies he advocates.
The clintons are part of the american dream and a fine representation of democratic principles and the promise of the democratic party. Yet, your candiate has ruined that for the Dnc and for himself if he is the nominee. Which I don’t think was writiten in stone by God or anything. And if Hillary, who has the same personality profile of George Washington, whose preseverance was fundamental in winning the American Revolution against a well-armed force, well-trained force… if she stays in, and she is no quitter, she will win, she will not fold like a cheap suit as Lyndsey Graham has said of obama.
As a lifelong democrat, I will leave the party and join forces to elect mccain.. War hero, POW, who was held in a cage in the jungle for five years by an enemy army--that's all I need to know about him. My mother, life long democrat will not vote for obama, and the story is the same for over 42 people I work with and the nearly 100 extended family mmembers I have discussed this with across the country.
The conduct of his minions is reason enough to not vote for him…They are threatening people with violence, they are attacking people verbally, and are denouncing anyone who doesn’t support him as unAmerican. This is just like the brown shirts during Bush's 2004 candidacy when we couldn't open our mouths without being jumped on.
Well, I think It is Obama who is unAmerican. He wasn't raised American, he doesn't understand what it is to grow up American-- He doesn't understand what it means to be one of us.
The third time it cut me off, I felt like I had vented enough. Though I may call back all day long... its free minute Sunday!!!

I called earlier and spoke w/Scott. He didn't have much to say except that
when I mentioned that I was upset about MI & FL...he said that Dean & Co are trying to make sure that they will be seated at the convention in Aug.
Of course I told him that it wasn't acceptable to put this off by saying they
may be seated at the convention. ACTION is needed now!
I continued to rant and rave and finally I just told Scott to make sure that our messages get relayed to Howie.

I called tonight and behaved in a civilized fashion. The young man I spoke with tonight completely agreed with me that the FLA primary should stand as it is. I offered him solace as I suspectd he was getting many angry calls as of late. He told me I was the most polite of calls he has gotten in nights. Let's keep the pressure up on Dean to spend less time worrying about the superdelegates and more time worrying about how to seat the voters of FLA and MI.
We the VOICE of the people can and SHALL be heard. Especially tomorrow as it is primary day in the great state of PA!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first I didn't believe the Finger thing.... But when I saw that there were TWO DIFFERENT VIDEOS (i.e., different audiences in the background on camera) and the finger thing happening at the exact same point in his speech, that's when I thought his speech must have read "pause... subtly give Hillary the finger.... wait for reaction from audience... continue spewing garbage...." Can anyone get a copy of that speech???
I think I'll tell the DNC that we are not a nation of 48 States and it is a person's right to be allowed to vote when selecting a person in a Federal Election. That they are violating the constitutional rights of 2.5 million voters and ask if they really think they will have a party left? THE DNC NEEDS TO ACT NOW AND GET THE VOTES OFFICIALLY COUNTED AND STOP THE MEDIA FROM SPINNING THE ELECTION BY EXCLUDING THE RESULTS OF 2 STATES THAT HILLARY WON!

Just called DNC and expressed:
1-FL/Mich votes need to be counted in this tight race
2-Obama's lack of experience and history of poor association choices which would make him a poor president (I mentioned that he would HAVE to associate with others to help him make decisions and he has a bad track record of association choices)
3-If Sen Clinton isn't our nominee, I will register as non-partisan and NEVER vote for Obama
The DNC rep was very nice and kind. We should all call and let our voices be heard! This was a great idea, it's wonderful how Sen Clinton's supporters are really starting to come together now and refusing to be bullied. Thank you!!!

I called the DNC and spoke to Scott and left a message for Dean saying how it was ridculous for him to demand the election be over by May 6th when so many other states has not voted. How he abuses his power that he dont have. How he needs to seat the certified delegates of MI and FL cause he is turning the party into a party of republicans and how well it worked out for Gore in 2000. I also said he needs to come out and tell us why he was behind cancelling the debate.
