Texas Ranch Religious Sect

I don't know what to think about the religious sect where 400 children were taken from their parents. I know there must have been sexual abuse since so many had babies or are now pregnant. I still feel bad for them being uprooted and taken to a strange place for God knows how long. I hope this gets sorted out soon and the truth found out. I guess I can't understand something or someones religion that I know nothing about:(

I've always wanted to be involved in the late night rescues Flora Jessup does.

If I lived in TX I would be a Foster parent to some of those kids! They need good role models & toys right now!

I heard on NancyGrace tonight that about 2/3 of the girls 13-17 are pregnant or have already been pregnant.

It is my hope that Hillary addresses this issue.

Sadly it seems the whole thing spawned from a woman who pretended to be a 16 year old pregnant female. Don't remember her name but she's done this before. I'm sure that there was abuse going on there (I think 13 is a little young to be having babies)... I feel very bad for the children who were uprooted. It'll be a hard time because they are not out in the world much.

I think that a lot of good is coming out of opening cans of worms this year. These things need to come to light so that change can happen. It is a sign that women and children are being given help in our society; that they are not left for the predators to ravage. We need to support all those people who are now being given a second chance to live. They are going to need help as much as the soldiers who are coming home from War.
