Hillary will be on Countdown with Keith Olberman tonight... this should be interesting.
Also don't forget to make calls today in PA, I've noticed a lot of people are undecided and leaning towards Hillary. I've been telling callers who are already supporters to come to this forum to post.

Absolutely agree with your statement.
HRC has no fear. And it will be interesting to see how Olberman behaves.

I was reminded of this excellent performance by HRC.
"Clinton's decision to sit down with the [Tribune] was courageous, given our long-standing criticism of her," the paper said. "That is no small matter. Political courage is essential in a president. Clinton has demonstrated it. Obama has not."

She also visited a conservative media and won them over very recently.. one of the newspaper editors if I recall.
She knows how to break through barriers without acrimony and instead building bridges.

No problem. She can handle him, and it could very easily work to her advantage. In fact, why wouldn't it? If she can face that and survive (which she will) she can face anything and she'll only solidify her position as someone who can work with anyone. Ought to be interesting.

Hillary will walk into the lion's den without problem. She has learned that is what you have to do. She managed the Scaife's newspaper in Pittsburgh. Remember Scaife raised millions of dollars to push for an investigation of Bill Clinton. Senator Clinton totally disarmed them. They wrote a positive editorial of her and they can't take that back in the general when they support McCain.

KO and all the rest of his lot are nothing compared to the full might of the GOP attack machine that Hillary has been sujected too non-stop for over a decade. And Hillary has come out standing stronger and better than ever!
Hillary and her family have been attached and blamed for every conceivable and inconceivable thing, so compared to all that, this is nothing for Hillary. She'll be her normal intelligent, graceful and humourous self, while I'm sure KO will be at his obnoxious worst.
This will be the first time in months that I'll actually watch KO, as he's drunk soo deeply of the kool-aid of late, that I can't stand him! But watching Hillary deal with this buffoon is something I can't miss.
Will she actually be in the studio with him or will she be joining in from another studio?

Do you all remember how polite, respectful and almost reverent he was in his interview of President Clinton? Not the same KO who went on that anti-Hillary rant awhile ago. I only saw part of it, but talk about the kitchen sink. He even accused the campaign of using the language of David Duke, or something similar--because of what Geraldine Ferraro said.
Keith's ego is enormous. He got famous with his anti-Bush diatribes. He was hoping for another "home run" with his anti-Hillary rant. Uh, didn't happen. I just hope he's not planning to score as many points as he can off her. And I hope she knows what she's in for. Surely she's seen his "memo" to her. The campaign must have prepared her.
OTOH, it's probably Keith I should be worried about, LOL!

I am sure she will do fine. The only problem is that KO has the final word. It wouldn't suprise me if on the shows afterwards he simply replays what she says, takes things out of context, then criticizes her based on his warped point of view and manipulated sound bites.
Although, I suspect the voting results will overturn anything negative he as to say. Hopefully his viewers will know that.
On a separate note, Ed Schultz from Air America was on a cable news channel some time back, predicting an Obama victory in PA. He was dogmatic about it. He did that just minutes before the bittergate audio showed up on the news.
I can't wait for the votes to come in so I can email him. Idiot~!

Mika had her panties all twisted up about his comment but I thought it was cute and sweet!
I know--Joe is so good to Hillary, and so is Pat Buchanan. They are gentlemanly and fair, regardless of how they'd cast their votes in the general election. Sometimes they rep her better than her own surrogates.
Though Mika drives me insane! I wish to God she'd be offered a nice new job elsewhere. Anyway, do you also wake up at 3:00 a.m. to watch, or is the show aired on a taped delay in OR?

Oh god. It's back to the Obama loving Olbermann again. He's now criticizing her about the comments she made during the interview. I think it's time I shut the TV off.

I'm shocked how well that turned out. Hillery can sure handle the tough questions.
Obama wouldn't come on his show, afraid of the hard questions.
Well, he asked the tough questions and gave her all the time she needed to answer them. He didn't rush her or interrupt her. She answered them beautifully, including the Scaife (sp?) endorsement question. He seemed to be appalled by her acceptance, but she wasn't fazed at all, and I love how she turned it around, saying it was proof that SHE could unite anybody or anything, lol.
SHE WAS GREAT!
Yes--the Scaife explanation was one of her all-time finest moments! I missed the beginning of the interview, so I'll have to catch the rerun. What a stellar candidate!

I'll have to watch it later tonight. I can't wait!
So he was on good behavior? Polite? Did he act even remotely humble or gracious that she agreed to appear and be interviewed?
Did he make any comments about the interview after it was finished??
Can someone explain this:
She laughed. She is pointing out opinions from Olbernut and others that are not in line with Hillary's or Obama's beliefs. She is hoping that this election will push the sexism, etc. out of the limelight.
Is she saying that opinions of sexism aren't shared by her or obama?? Or was she talking about something else?

She looked great in red, the American Flag, and more than that her smiling
and her laugher just set the stage!
Keith was cordial, and the only time I was apprehensive was when he asked the question on "Iran/Middle east/nuclear button issue". I hope someone
here put's that segment into script, because she answered all the questions,
even the sexism question, she says that in our country, we still have those
who speak through sexism and racism, and that she is breaking the highest
ceiling.
She sparkled, and Keith didn't appear to be putting her on the chopping block.
More of this kind of interview and people across this Country will be saying what we have been saying: Our President

I actually suffer from insomnia so I unfortunately catch him at 3a.m.Sometimes if I manage to get to sleep before then I will catch him online.I have been a fan of his for years.Could never figure him out when he was a republican. It just didn't fit.And I agree,Mika and Campbell Brown need to go far,far away.I have gotten to where i find Ms. Brown as irritating as Georgie and BO.

Sen. Clinton did a great job!
FYI - O'Reilly factor's body language segment is on THE FINGERgate! On FOX now.
She makes me care about all of this and I always thought I did however, now it is so much more !!!
I ONLY CAUGHT a second on the "fingergate" and his expert and he dissed the fingergate... oh he didn't he realize he was going that... and then ther brush thing they are calling that all about being powerful... If that is where Barack's power is THEN HILLARY IS RISING FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!
I still think he gave her the finger-will not convince me otherwise... the people behind him did for sure!!!!

Okay, so now I'm not so upset that I posted that "protest watch" link. It all got us very excited that morning and I think between the people outside and many of us calling NBC and emailing everyone in the media, you all did get noticed!
Good going Murray and crew!
Between me and y'all..., Olbermann seems like a "sensitive guy" and I think he probably was more upset by the protest than was Matthews. Olbermann wanted to be the big man on campus, but when it looked like he was bullying the head professor who was likely to be his dean next year, he backed down.
Great job, you all, and will you please post whatever you recorded? I had written to the media and said I wouldn't watch Olbermann's show anymore the day you all protested, and I had to keep my threat going. ;.)
Thanks!

Hillary adeptly answered every question and scored major points! Keith didn't rattle her by bringing up the rant about her saying McCain is qualified to be president but also criticizing BO for saying McCain would be better than Bush . She compared it to noting that someone has a license to practice law but is not the best lawyer for a case. Her answers were simply perfect.
And he acknowledged the Protest Against Media Bias outside his window. I think he wanted her to say "No, no, Keith I don't think You're a misogynist." Ha! Ha! :D :D :D :D

I won't watch Keith either, but somehow my husband had it on and he screamed when Keith mentioned our protest on the plaza last week - so I had to run in and hear the rest of it. Hillary answered all his questions and did a great job. The bit about Scaife and the right wing conspiracy was wonderful, how she turned him around and received a glowing endorsement from his newspaper the Pittsburgh tribune this weekend. But then right after she was off the air he started in on her again - he said did I just hear her say she would blow up Iran over the nuclear issue and it almost sounded like a setup so he could bash her some more. Since I did not review the whole interview in detail I'm not sure, but I don't think Hillary said what Keith was intimating. So I guess the sign on Rockefeller Plaza is still correct -"Elton meant you Keith."

Thank you all so much for your reporting of what happened tonight. I was not able to watch because I had to take my son to a soccer game. I have now been diagnosed by my family (who are all strong Hillary supporters) as having OCD over Hillary. I really did want to skip the game and watch her but I knew if I did my family would be really upset with me. I cannot thank you guys enough for keeping us informed when we cannot view tv shows.
It's wonderful to know what questions were asked and how she answered them. I knew she would do outstanding. I never have doubts with Hillary. She's a sure bet every time.
It's wonderful that the protest was mentioned. Way to go protesters. You guys did an outstanding job and we are all so proud of you. Thanks for standing up for those of us who could not be there.

Keith mentioned the protest! rofl, I just heard it. Good job guys!
Hillary just BLEW away the questions Keith threw at him. He almost seemed like he was her friend instead of the Keith we heard the past weeks. I sincerely hope that she quelled any more ridiculous monologues by him.
Way to go Hillary! This is why I support you! Your answer to Scaifs endorsement was awesome, bridging the widest chasms!

It is about 2:23 a.m. here. I just watched an interview which Hillary gave with Keith Olbermann on "Countdown on MSNBC". She did a great job as usual. It could be a re-run as I do not watch this station and do not know if they run these things over and over. Now they have some guy with a heavy British (Wolfe?) accent and Olbermann analyzing what she had said about McCain's military qualifications, her laugh, the endorsement last night by the newspaper guy, ...blah..blah..blah. I do not like this Olbermann. He seems like a two-faced hypocrite.

Today show- NBC started its day by slaming Hillary, get out nonsense is back, for Hillary they had target 10 points and for their own darling Obama he had money he can continue. They are saying newly registered Republicans will vote for Obama, so now we have to see how much they decrease her lead. Basically, they are suggesting Obama is cheating but his cheating is Okay.
They rant about negative ad etc.
They make me sick, Useless Tim Russert came up with his twisted analysis.
When these joker will start counting FL and MI.
