Get this to all the pro-Hillary sites. The more people who flood MSNBC with this, the better.
I knew that article was going to be picked up by that hateful network. They are going to try to ruin Hillary any way they can. We have to be proactive and try to nip these things in the bud when they happen, before they go further. I don't know if we can, but we can try.

Have to hear it in context, as that can be regarded as a Death threat against a US Senator and Former First Lady. If so then it has to be investigates and the offender arrested and held over for arraignement and trial.

The article that came out in the NYT yesterday.

I watched the video and Olbermann were talking about getting Hillary to drop out of the race by having super super super delegates talk to her. KO said something stupid to the effect that they go into a room and only one would come out. The conversation continued but I turned it off. They weren't exactly threatening violence to her, but these guys are just plain stupid. I think that the Secret Service might have something to say about whether even super super super delegates would be alone with a former First Lady who has her own contingent of Secret Service agents. What's more, I don't think the Democratic Party has ANYONE stronger and tougher than our girl.

You see, Obama lost big last night, he has lost momentum, the Rep attack machine has started, and the Obama campaign is slowing down because of all of this, it's hurting Obama's campaign and electibility big time. Olbermann is having a nervous breakdown. So he does what he does best, go off on Hillary like the maniac he is.

KO and his guest were talking about "Hillary's" negativity and that some super super super high DNC member should take her into a room, seemingly to twist her arm to make her quit. KO said something equally stupid like and only one of them comes out. Since Hillary has a Secret Service contingent, the likelihood of any party bigwig getting her alone for the purpose of browbeating her or causing physical harm are zero to none. Furthermore, the Party doesn't have anyone smarter or tougher than she is so that person leaving the room will undoubtedly be Hillary Clinton!

Ok, that's gone far enough. First, the least offencive point this raises, is it's a sexist comment. No way would they do this to any male candidate. Next, what this does is talk about using force to keep Hillary out of the race and maybe putting the thought into some derranged person - like there's not enough of them in this world. If anything happens to Hillary as a result of this comment, Olbermann, the media who supports him should be locked away forever. As it stands, people should lose their jobs and this should be investigated. Olberman is acting like this is Iraq or Iran. He's putting women back hundreds of years.
As is stands right now, Olbermann should lose his job ASAP. Don Imus got canned for saying less.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/04/12/national/main2675273.shtml
This is far worse, this is encouraging violence and this is showing what this station is all about - they are thugs and they have done nothing but encourage lies and support corruption. Hillary's campaign office should also be notified.
Next, they don't know it but they might just have handed Hillary the election by doing this.
Suggesting Hillary be roughed up, even in jest is serious business folks. This guy needs not only to be canned but the police need to investigate.

Ok I've been reading that Obama book
and in it the writer proposes that Zbigniew Brzezinski, who is one of Obama's advisors has a daughter named Mika Brzezinski who is with MSNBC.
Apparently the advisors are Richard Clark (of 9/11 fame-Dennis Ross, and Susan Price--wants to nuke Sudan), so this guy with this book, which is highly entertaining by the way, (obamkins, and stampeding lemmings lol), looks at the Advisors around Obama and declares to himself that these are all Wallstreet, with a political agenda that is anti-russian, anti-china, and anti-sudanese. The book is from a left critique of Obama.
Gets interestinger and interestinger.

I am continuing to boycott SC Johnson products (they sent me a letter last week to see what was the problem now they will know) and then wrote to this guy to say how is this okay to do to bully and advertise an attack against a SENATOR and FORMER FIRST LADY and think that is okay? not to mention a serious hate attitude toward not only women but anyone who doesn't do things the way they want her to do... then I said he and the guest need to fined and let go for good. This would never be said against an AA candidate and for all the complaints against Senator Clinton regarding her negativity suggesting taking her in a room alone and beating her up or worse and making sure only the other person comes out is more than NEGATIVE !

This is what I sent to Griffin and Capus:
Do you people in charge at NBC News have no control over the content of Keith Olbermann’s Countdown? Per Mr. Olbermann and his equally stupid guest, a Democratic super super super delegate should take Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton into a room and only “he” would come out? This kind of nonsense must stop. NBC, MSNBC and CNN may be doing all in their power to bring down Sen. Clinton, but I think you might want to remember that Senator and former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton has Secret Service protection at all times and threatening a U. S. Senator is a federal offense.

You are the community of 1500 I'm talking about. We all have to stand by this and do something if he is not indeed suspended by Friday! We circulated the list of sponsors on here a week or so ago. We need to find that thread, Murray. I'll help organize this letter-writing campagin if you all want, since I volunteerd us all. (Whoops!)
I don't think anyone on here will mind.
I also sent Griffin a link to the U-Tube so there would be no questions as to what I a referring to. I just took that off this post since it's already out there.
*********************
Mr. Griffin,
I know it doesn't help to write to any of you. You condone this type of behavior from your hosts? This is so unacceptable, as it insinuates violence toward women. Can even you not see that, Sir? This is no longer about Keith not liking a political candidate, or making intelligent commentary on the primary process. The man has issues. He needs to see a psychologist.
Keith needs to realize that Senator Clinton did not make the decision to disenfranchise Florida and Michigan and with those two states counted, she would be ahead right now and this primary would be over. Millions of people want to vote for Hillary Clinton -- and for Senator Obama -- and should be given the chance to do so. I've written to you before and I'll say it again, Sir. Do we live in such a microwave society that we cannot allow democracy to play out? Are we now taking to former sportscasters-turned-political pundits not only calling all the shots, but threatening a candidate's welfare because he wants the other person to win? This is how nut cases get their ideas (and permission) to exact violence.
I've not only been forced to officially boycott all MSNBC shows, but unless Keith Olbermann is suspended immediately, there will be a full-force letter-writing campaign to all of MSNBC's sponsors including this U-tube footage. Not just by me. We have a group with 1500 members ready to take action beginning on Friday!

Don Imus lost his job for less. This is serious stuff; he's suggesting violence against a candidate running for the President of the United States. He's suggesting to rough her up, get her to end her campaign. Not only is the comment sexist, it's promoting violence against not only Hillary but women in general.....suggesting a let's put them (women, Hillary) in their place, and it's threatening. This is very serious, every one in the media, especially those in the media that support Hillary needs to be made aware of this imo as well - has anyone on Hillary's website been notified?

He's encouraging abuse, not just abuse of Hillary but of women in those comments, but on this tonight, he needs to be fire, this is very serious. He's messing with someone running for pres. He seems to forget that. Her husband was the former Pres. Olberman is degrading women and is promoting violence; pretty serious stuff, he needs to be made accountable and like i said, Don Imus was fired for less.
Media need to be held accountable, if they're going to be abusive, and promote violence, hatred, disrepect, they need to pay in some way for their actions. Getting fired is a good start.

The retribution talk is terrifying. Who are "they"? Who's talking retribution behind closed doors? Who's taking her into the room and coming out alone, apparently stepping over her dead body in the process?
This is heinous. Truly, it is.
And what's really rich is they're blaming her ten-point win and her growth in every core democratic group (except AA and the youth vote) on one freaking ad???? Oh gosh, oh golly, oh gee ... Obama's chances were devastated by Osama's image in one ad. If that's all it took, he needs to cash in his chips. The game's over.

Forgot to mention, I just wrote SC Johnson Co. and told them I would be boycotting all of their products until they stopped sponsoring Countdown...not that I use any to begin with, but hope the letter helps. When I watched that video, it just creeped me out. I was slapped in the face.

Guys, This so-called "negative" campaign, I don't see how it is negative. Maybe someone can explain to me. To me:
(1) It didn't say anything about Obama
(2) All contents seem like FACTS. 9/11 happened. Pearl Harbor happenned.
(3) If people watch the ads and do not want to vote Obama, then should we not question about Obama's electability? McCain is a war hero, and he will play this over and over.
I just don't get it. If anything, Hillary is doing Obama a favor. I just don't get it.

If Keith Olberman said someone should take Hillary out, maybe he meant on a date, and that he was available. That Keith will do anything to move up the pundit ladder.

I was going to come in and delete my own comment but I was quoted twice so I will adjust my above comment.
Keith Olbermann's private young girlfriend has nothing to do with the inappropriateness of his public commentary on a champion who is running for the President of the United States, so I had no right to bring her in to my condemnation of his attitude and words. Doing that is no better than what he did except that maybe two people heard my ad hominem jab and millions heard his willingness to use thug language towards her.
His punching, jabbing, aggressive, mocking, self-righteous behavior this morning is not befitting the public air waves, but it is out of bounds for me to comment on the taste of his girlfriend. I am sorry to have allowed myself to be dragged down by his comment. One reason I choose HIllary as my leader is that she does not let other people drag her down. She rises. In that, she inspires in us to get up tomorrow, dress, and smile!
:D
Let's affirm all women who seek their own power and do not rely upon the illusory power of a priviledged male still wielding his priviledge. Olbermann's behavior has the fingerprint of macho-patriarchial priviledge. He is a dinosaur and doesn't know it.

In 1997, Olbermann abruptly left ESPN under a cloud of controversy, apparently burning his bridges with the network's management.[5] This began a long and drawn out feud between Olbermann and ESPN. During the time between 1997 and 2007 incidents between the two sides included Olbermann publishing an essay on Salon.com in November of 2002 entitled "Mea Culpa" in which he conceded that his own insecurities and neurotic behavior had led to many of his problems at work.[6] The essay told of an instance of where his former bosses remarked he had "too much backbone," - which is literally true. Olbermann has six lumbar vertebrae instead of the normal five

You know these pundits make a living at tearing people down. They talk negative much more than they do positive on any given day. They spend more time tearing people down than any candidate does in the rigors of a campaign. I am sick of it. These attacks of Olbermann have become personal and now we see even infer violence against a person...Hillary Clinton. And this Olbermann and Howard Fineman sit and judge Hillary and pass sentence in just a few seconds and get away with it?! I am so sick of everyone deciding the election...but the voters. This cannot go unchallenged by the voters. Hillary gets a big victory and they attack. All the support and love for Hillary that was shown in this victory by her supporters went right over their heads...maybe because they have no heart. Time to renew our efforts against the media bias...it has become worse than bias. It is on the edge of being criminal.
It's sad to see the dramatic change in tone by certain tv hosts over the course of this campaign. I started watching Countdown back in January when I really became interested in politics, then it honestly wasn't so bad. But after New Hapshire and South Carolina every media outlet except Fox(Surprise, Surprise) jumped on the B.O. bandwagon. But this comment tonight really crossed the line of professionalism... but then again this is journalism and when have they seemily ever been truly objective.

Keith Oberman is a immature fool. One minute he is politely interviewing her prior to the PA primary and now this. I use to watch his show but now I have stopped watching MSNBC all together. I know that he is always complaining about Bill O'Reily. I wonder if he didn't have a conflict with him too at some point in his career. Bill would probably address what he said and how it affects women. It was so inappropriate and threats should not be tolerated! I don't think I have every heard male candidates threaten each other in such a way ever. He should be fired or suspended and forced to appologize to Hillary. Didn't they make Chris Mathews appologize for what he said about Hillary?

KO only says this because Hillary is a woman. He'd never say that about a male presidential candidate. I lost respect for him awhile ago, when he spoke of the man that hated the Clintons. That man (I don't remember the name) talked with Hillary and changed his mind about her. He even later endorsed her. KO didn't want to accept that, and put the poor man on his Worst person in the world list. After that, KO became banned whenever I was around. My husband remembered KO from his days at ESPN, and was a little upset about the ban (he didn't see the Worst person in the world part, and didn't watch KO that often). Needless to say, I played him the clip about taking Hillary into a backroom and only the super super super delegate coming out (btw, what the heck is a super super super delegate???).. Anyways, my husband now totally agrees about the KO ban. I surely hope the man gets fired, and I'll write anyone that listens to add their voice to mine. Encouraging violence just because you don't like the person is wrong.

The ad is considered negative because it uses scare tactics, ie the images of 9/11 and Osama bin Laden. Apparently Dems can be accused of going dirty if they use scare tactics against each other because it's typically a Republican tactic against Dems. The 3 am call that Hillary used in Texas and perhaps PA (not sure) was also considered scare tactics.
On that basis and that alone she's being accused of fighting dirty. Obama's lies and blatant attempts to frighten people about her health care plan are okay, apparently. I heard David Axelrod on Meet the Press say that people will have their wages garnished under Hillary's plan and the ad they put out implies the same thing. But Hillary's camp uses one brief image of ObL and she's playing dirty.
What's dirty? The double standard they're using to judge these candidates, that's what's DIRTY.

He didn't really advocate violence toward Hillary, he was speaking about the DNC members in the background, plotting something against Hillary. I didn't hear all of it, as I changed the channel shortly after.
ZforHill, you probably missed the part where they talked about retribution. Specifically that some mysterious "they" were holed up behind closed doors, planning retribution, and then someone would be taking her in a room and coming out alone. So, what's that supposed to mean? It's pretty obvious.

Keith O. has already discredited himself as a journalist. He is keeping and gaining audiences that are pro Obama, so it is not surprising that he won't give up the unjustified bashing of Sen. Clinton. His show and advertisers needs to be boycotted in hopes that money talks louder then words.
What I find more angering is the new MSM and DNC leaders chant that this primary is in OVER, OVER, OVERTIME and it needs to end. IF the DNC wanted it over before April, they should have planned out the primaries earlier (like MI & FL). The message they are sending out is one that confirms what many American have suspected all along; politics is all a done deal from the start and the voters opinions aren't really needed or appreciated. Almost like we are annoying pests come to ruin their picnic.

Guys, I just viewed the full clip of the KO/Fineman segment again and it's far worse than anything I could paraphrase. You need to look at the full clip. It's gruesome.
I just wrote to Hillary's campaign. I'm praying they'll watch the clip, but here's what I said:
I'm sending the link to a very disturbing segment of Keith Olbermann's Countdown that aired yesterday. In it he and Howard Fineman suggest that retribution is being planned behind closed doors against Senator Clinton for the use of unfair ads and that she should be taken out, i.e., that someone will take her into a room and come out alone.
There is another reference to the battle getting "bloody" against her. The segment has a very disturbing and sinister tone that I believe the campaign should be aware of.

Here is the letter I sent to the Senior Vice President of news for NBC and President NBC News Steve Capus:
Dear Mr. (I wrote to both of them)
I am writing you because of my deep concern about Keith Olbermann
and his continued offensive remarks about our Former First Lady, and
Senator of New York, Hillary Clinton.
Yesterday on Mr. Olbermanns show, he made disturbing comments
about Senator Clinton such as, "She received a reprieve from the
governor" in regards to her PA. win. Might I ask, what he was giving
her a reprieve from?
His next statement was in regards to "retribution" to be exacted against
her! He then stated that she "needed to be taken into a room, but only
one person comes out, and it isn't her!" Is he wanting me to understand
from those statements that the "retribution" he speaks of, is to be exacted
in this room, while she is alone with this "person" that has been assigned for
the job? He may want to speak to her Secret Service detail about this, as
I somehow don't think they would take this to lightly.
I am a survivor of domestic abuse, as well as a kidnapping and rape at the
hands of a gunman when I was 14 years old. I don't take veiled threats
against women lightly.
I belong to a pro-Hillary group that is 1500 + strong. We have already staged
a protest against hate speech and media bias on April 11th 2008 @ 30 Rockefellar
Plaza. This protest was aimed at Mr. Olbermann (and Chris Matthews), and their
sexist and hatefilled language against Senator Clinton.
Mr. Olbermann is quite aware of this protest against him, as he mentioned it to
the Former First Lady in his recent interview with her. Please, feel free to look
this up.
My group, hillaryclintonforum has contacted NOW in regards to these, and other
statements made about Senator Clinton. We have already started one petition
to boycott all MSNBC shows. We are starting a letter writing campaign to your
advertisers boycotting their products until Mr. Olbermann is fired.
I hope that you are upset by these statements, and how they reflect MSNBC's
views on women.
As a woman I can tell you that they are very upsetting to us.
Sincerely,
Everyone write letters and express your concerns!! This is important. We are getting the media to understand that hate speech is not acceptable, that there is media bias against Hillary. We are hearing all these states talk about how their voting voices are being heard for the first time. We have alot of momentum going here. There is alot of talk about the 48 state strategy and Fl. & MI. not being counted. The DNC is going to see that changing the primaries around has done good to our party!! Write letters let your voices be heard!!
