View Full Version : Petition to request Senator Clinton quit the race

Below is the petition Obama supporters have been signing to DNC to force Hillary quit the race. Please read. We should set a petition to encounter it.
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/part-2-stop-the-clinton-mudslinging
-------------------------------------
Attached, please find PART TWO of the petition to the DNC to stop the Dirty Politics of Senator Clinton. This petition takes things a step further and is asking that you request that Senator Clinton quit the race before tearing the democratic party apart. We will not let her dirty politics win the day! She must be held accountable, it's time to ask her to concede the race to Mr. Obama.
As you will recall, in part one of our petition delivered 1/25/08 we provided you with over 1300 signatures and we indicated that we collected those 1300 signatures in less than 24 hours which amounts to about a signature per minute. Clearly the members of the democratic party find that there is a real sense of urgency surrounding this matter.
As we have yet to hear from you or to be acknowledged in any way by your organization we have decided to continue the drive for signatures indefinitely until such time as you will hear our voices.
As you will find once you peruse the depth and breadth of this petition, many of its signators are life-long Democratic Party Faithfuls- even more ironic is that many of them are former Clinton supporters, and by signing this, all of them have effectively pledged to either switch party affiliations or to boycott the general election if Hillary Clinton wins the democratic nomination through dirty campaign tactics. As much as we want a Democrat back in the White House, we refuse to coalesce and rally around a Machiavellian nominee just to win the beloved spoils.
It is deeply troubling and beyond offensive to each of us that Senator Clinton and her surrogates have deliberately and maliciously created a rift in the Democratic Party structure, one that she is clearly hoping to use to her advantage. Staying in the race at this point does our party no favors.
Furthermore, now she is trying to change the rules of engagement by trying to litigiously usurp delegates from "stripped primary states". We feel that this "win at all costs" strategy is unacceptable and we want it to stop immediately. We cannot and will not support a candidate who strong-arms his or her way to the nomination.
We respectfully request that you address Senator Clinton immediately and ask her to make a public pledge to cease and desist and to quit the race. We feel a public apology to Senator Obama is in order for her campagin's intentional distortions of his character.
Furthermore, we also feel that Senator Clinton owes the Democratic Party and all of its members a formal public apology for trying to win our votes with lies and vitriol. That being said, we would like her to make a public announcement to the news media to the effect that she takes full responsibility for the damage that she has done, that she is going to stop this ugliness, and that she is going to quit the race.
We understand that you are in a difficult position, sir, but as you weigh the importance of appearing neutral in the public eye versus doing what you know in your heart is correct, we ask you to imagine what 1 signature per minute might mean for the Democratic Party when compounded over 10 months instead of a mere 24 hours.
That is nearly a half of a million registered democrats that are either going to stay home or switch party affiliations. I hasten to remind you that the last two elections were won or lost over fewer votes than that.
It is clear the people want Senator Obama to move ahead NOW as the Democratic Nominee. Please choose carefully.
We thank you sincerely for your time and attention.
Respectfully
-------------

There is nothing more disgusting than a baseless cult.
Yeah, go ahead ask her to resign.
THAT'S NOT HAPPENING.
These cultists need to get it through their thick heads that 17% of Democrats have not voted yet and let's don't start on MI and FL. And, we deserve our chance to vote too.
Not to mention, most of us have been around a lot longer than those Obamanuts have been alive and fighting for this Party all along.
I wish there were an anti-Kool Aid drug we could slip into their beverages at these rallys to help them out of their trances.

They are throwing tantrum like kids who didn't get what they want.
They can keep kicking and screaming. It's a waste of energy. It's not going to happen. Don't waste time with this. We need to focus our energy to get more votes and win the state primary.

So funny. Everyone accuses the Clintons of using dirty tactics to win and yet ignore this. I told some whining Obama-ites on one of my horse racing boards "Your candidate lost, suck it":D

LMAO
to me, any of us, that is repulsive and laughable.
but, the democratic party and some super delegates are saying the same thing.
if anone has split this party, it was the democratic party itself when they stripped florida and michigan of our votes.
the dnc needs to understand that so many of us will vote for mccain if that is what we are left with. i don't believe they understand that.

Yes, they know it. I heard CNN talked about that many time that about 25 % of Hillary supporters will cross the party if Obama wins, but only around 10% of Obama supporters will cross the party if Hillary wins...Yes, CCN talked about this many times, this a a poll from CNN..
Who are these people supporting BO?
I cannot relate to them....
Are we from the same world?

It'll happen. I hope it's absolutely salacious!!!!!
You see, that's the sort of logic that separates Hillary supporters from the Obaminable ones...our petition states that we won't vote for him if he's the nominee, while they ask that she drop out altogether. I think they realize their days of calm before the storm are definitely over...

It's not just that they're asking her...it's the way they are DEMANDING it. There's so much venom in that petition, it's scary. So much hatred that it makes my stomach turn. The tone of that petition speaks volumes about Obama and his supporters.

Venom stems from not standing on solid ground...let them rant and rave all they want. They know the honeymoon's over and don't know how to handle it. The idea that Hillary won RI, OH & TX fair and square despite their attemtps to sabotage is freaking them out completely. Let them spew their venom and hatred; let them finally show themselves for what they are but have been accusing Hillary supporters of being. It's all finally coming to surface.

Wow, a petition of all things, and all I did was unsubscribe from email notifications from the Democratic party because I was so tired of Obamamania.
We all need to make phone calls, donate money, go door to door, everything we can to ensure that Hillary makes it to the White House.
For the two weeks before 3/4, I was calling Texas every day. Some of the voters were very scared of Obamamania. That is what fueled me on those phones every night. Let's keep it up everyone - it's working!
Maybe we should all write to the Democratic party to have them seat the voters in MI and FL. It is too expensive to hold a second election. Everyone has the right to vote, and why would we have a second election just because some people disenfranchised their own voters?
There are no do-overs for voting. The Supreme Court made that clear in 2000. MI and FL already voted, and from I hear, in record numbers and Clinton won MI 55%?
The only reason to do-over is because of Obama did not like the first results, but who cares what Obama has to say?
Like someone said on this posting - he chose not to be on the ballot - how foolish is that?
Let's write to the DNC - SEAT THE VOTERS IN MI AND FL!

Wow. Other people are doing the same as I am. This is great. I am glad I found you guys. I have consistently advised the DNC and have written on every blog that if Obama is the Democratic nominee, I am voting for McCain. I will not vote for someone with so little experience.

Here is the petition to sign, every vote should be counted, every one's voice should be heard:
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/seatourdelegates/index.html
We, the Black Sheep Delegation of the Democratic party, demand that the Democratic National Committee recognize the results of Florida's and Michigan's primaries and seat our delegates at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
On January 15, 2008, 572,129 Michigan Democrats voted in the Democratic primary even though two of the three frontrunners for the nomination had voluntarily pulled their names from the ballot.
On January 29, 2008, 1.7 million Floridians voted in the Democratic primary despite being told repeatedly that their votes wouldn't count.
We voted in record numbers because we are deeply concerned about the future of our country. We are thinking about the economy, national security, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, energy independence, the environment, and health care. We are not concerned with primary schedules.
We are private citizens, and we are not responsible for the tug-of-war between the state Democratic parties and the DNC. We demand that our votes be counted now before the primary season ends. We will not be subjected to another vote or a caucus.
Howard Dean's "50-state strategy" was credited with returning the House and Senate to the Democrats in 2006. Do not leave Florida and Michigan voters out in 2008. Count our votes now, or don't count on us to vote in November.

if he is doing this on a primary, requesting her oponent to "resign"... I cannot imagine how he will handle a national dissaster, war or Terrorist attacks. Well, he said he will speak with his enemies as well right? So probably he will make us sign a petition when something like that happen to request the enemy to quit the attacks... Ridiculous.
He is just making stronger HRC point on the telephone commercial. His lack of experience.
"When there's a crisis and that phone rings at 3 a.m. in the White House, there's no time for speeches or on the job training. You have to be ready to make a decision." Hillary Clinton
Let's make a petition to let him know that if he can't handle pressure then he should be the one who quits.
Guys we are stronger than ever.

It disgusts me that a candidate would have their supporters make a petition against the other candidate to quit the race. If I were a voter in the upcoming states and seeing that he wouldn't want my voice to be heard, I'd let him know.
You know, it's things like this that make me realize that the change people seek is not the change this country needs. If this is the "new face" for Washington, I think we're better off with what we have now!

They have collected up to 1804 signature on the petition to force Hillary drop out of the race. What a loser they all are!!! Here are some of their comments:
-------------
I don't even want to read their vile comments!
I wonder if we should lock this thread...their behavior deserves NO attention!
Is it constructive to be discussing this topic? Let me know what you think...
While I agree that no more of the petition comments should be posted here, you have to laugh at some of them. It's obvious that they feel the ground cracking under their feet. Really, some of those comments are desperately hilarious and the fruit of inculcated hearsay.
Ergo: let 'em eat cake!

This is the mindset of people who want others to just move out of their way so they don't have to work for it. Amazing at the arrogance. To think they want Hillary with her intelligence and her experience and her work ethics to move out of the way for a man that has yet to prove himself at anything.

LOL...wut...say again? 1300 signatures? Get 1 million and maybe it might get past reception.
More rubbish from the obamanites. The DNC will never dare tell Hillary to resign. Bear in mind that she's not too far in terms of the popularity vote.

They are just upset that McDreamy is not the "Messiah" anymore. He is just another politician with lots of politics in his background. No more Mr. Hope, no more "Yes we can" feels so good. No more we are above it all, not like that dirty woman who gets down and fights with everything she's got. No more we are better than you. No more high ground. No more chosen ones. I am so sorry obamamites, the higher you get, the harder you fall.

but this sounds like the ramblings of an overdramatic teenager who's upset because they stopped serving ice cream in the lunch room.
Tells you a lot about the thought process (and age) of Obamites.
As somebody already pointed out, many of them are 1) first-time voters who think they're attending a pep rally 2) Democrats who could never be bothered in the past to vote in a Primary 3) Independents who couldn't actually be bothered to join a party but think they should have a say in who our party nominee is or 4) Republicans who hate all things Clinton and will go to the ends of the Earth to be sure another one doesn't get in the White House.
I agree, this is a waste of our time. Let them throw their temper tantrums while we make phone calls, write letters and blogs and campaign hard to turn the tide back in Hillary's favor.
We can do it!

What do we do to make our own petition happen?
We do nothing except support Hillary's fight, the issues that she is fighting for as we all believe in them because they are what is right.
In all honesty, 1300 is a minute fraction of a percent of voters who have cast their votes for either candidate. So there is no reason for it to be taken seriously. Not to mention, since they delivered the 1300 "signtures" on January 25th, in the past 2 months, only 600 more "signatures" have been provided.
Doesn't hold alot of merit.

Hey Obama, I'm from Michigan and a United States citizen and I want my vote to count! You want to tell me and all our brave soldiers why it shouldn't?
Aww, forget about 'em. Only a bunch of ******** would use "litigiously" and "usurp" next to each other in the same sentence! :D

Murray or any administrator,
I really think this post is inappropriate for this forum. If I wanted to hear or read this stuff I would not get my news from this site only. This is the only place I have been getting any news and it has worked as a safe haven for my unshakeable belief that Sen. Clinton is the only person readys to lead this country. I am not trying to hear this kind of negative crap.

HILLARY CLINTON IS NOT STEPPING DOWN, SHE IS HEADING TO THE WHITE HOUSE
