I AM SO OUTRAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this man tried to sugar coat himself with his earlier interview.
I did not know that being white was so b ad, just as I didn't know to be black was bad. he is showing me that I have been lost in the world of color blindness. Thank you, for bringing me out of the darkness to see the light of your separatist beliefs. In Oakland, they had a debate about making ebonics a second language so they could go to remedial english classess. I hate to break it to everyone, there is a certain type of speak and writing of standard english to make it in the business world. I have a bias against those that use text speak in real writing. This is the man that Barak clung to during his "spritual" moments. Well Obama, if nothing else it shows me how horrendously you must think about the woman that gave birth to you or the grandmother that raised you. Shame on you Barak, you sicken me.

I was just getting ready to post that Obama supporters won't see any of this as negatively as we do. In fact, they'll say we're playing dirty for bringing up anything negative about it.
Even more than Obama himself, his supporters upset me a great deal. It's bad enough that these things are out there -- Wright, Ayers, all of Obama's anti-American friends, the anti-White statements in his book -- but to have to listen to his supporters defend all of it; it's just disturbing...I fear for myself, my children, and the future of this country.

I find it so strange that first we have O-Bama interview on Fox today, tonight we have the crazy preacher on CNN - Now we have Dick Durbin (co-chair of Obamas campaign SD & Debbie wasserman Shultz (Hillary SD from Fla) Durbin of course is praising Wright & Debbie is not taking the bait (She just went straight to saying what all Hillary will do for america - I think this was thier plan for today, because O-Bama is running scared & they are trying to show how wonderful Wright is & Fox & Cnn are right in the middle of it - Hopefully Bill ORiely & Sean Hannity will call it for just what it is, they sometimes are half way fair. I guess this is supposed to make us all forget all the hateful things he has already said. If this set-up today isnt about race, I will eat my hat, that is all Wright & O-Bama are talking about today, They just keep playing it over & over on CNN, I am sure it will be thier talking point all this week, God I wish I could take a vacation , but you know what it really fires me up and I again made another 50.00 donation to Hillary so let them keep talking!!!!!!!!!!!
He is now ranting how he is not a politician, but change is coming over & over - & refered to his good friend Rowland Martin who says he is nutreal , Ha
How all the whites see African Americans as deficiant, then he goes on to make fun of JFK - Boy if O-Bama wins after this fiasco, I thought we were all americans but not according to this nut case - You would think by listening to him that we were in the civil rights era.

Sermon Video Presents Obama's Former Pastor in His Own Words
Friday, April 25, 2008
The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, in an interview with PBS newsman Bill Moyers broadcast Friday, says his fiery comments, including his controversial “God Damn America” proclamation, have been taken out of context by the news media.
Barack Obama’s former pastor says people should listen to his entire sermon to have a complete understanding of his message.
FOXNews.com has compiled video from the full sermon delivered by Wright on April. 13, 2003, from the pulpit of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.
Was criticism of Wright’s fiery sermons “unfair” and “devious,” as he argued in the PBS interview?
Click on the links below to watch the full, unedited speech.

I am watching the rerun of the speech right now and have to confess, I have actually cried in grief to see this man trying to rerun the 1960's. I can't help but wonder what is going through the mind of Senator Clinton, who was such a proponent of the AA community during the civil rights movement. This extremism after all these years has really unnerved me in a way I cannot begin to explain. And how he rolled off all those Irish names....what he doesn't know is that irish in this country were referred to as White Niggers when we first came here. I have a sign in my house circa 1928 that reads Now Hiring, Irish need not apply. I have kept that sign to remind me every day that I am not all that far removed from discrimination. But this speech of his.....

My child's 3rd grade teacher spent last summer teaching in Tanzania. The young children who were lucky enough to attend school were not standing on their desks and that's for sure! The children lined up every day before entering their schoolroom and one by one their hands and nails were checked and uniforms straightened before being allowed to continue on to their classroom. The class size was huge and there were not a lot of supplies. 1 crayon per student.

Why is Wright angry? I hear he's moving into a 1.5 million dollar house in an all-white neighborhood adjacent a golf course with a 10 million dollar line of credit - all as a retirement package from his church. Is that true or did I mishear?
He took a poor chuch and made it into a flourishing business and got rich. He always was pretty well off - father a minister and mother an Administrator at 2nd most prestigious school in his town. He himself went to nearly all-white elite school.

Speaking of million dollar homes. I remember when they made public how televangelist Joyce Meyer spend lavishly on a toilet in the tune of $23,000 (http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/viewArticle.asp?articleID=42538). How much did Wright spend on his lol.

I feel this way 100% about Obama. He's exploited the black people in Chicago for his own political game and threw them under the bus along with everyone else. You don't hand over the lives of low income people to live in slums not fit for a dog to live in let alone a child, just because you'll receive millions in financial contributions if you do. Just remember everyone, that Newscasters, on the majority are failed actors and actresses. Many of the talking heads in front of the camera are just that. They could not make it too hollywood, or TV programming so they found their way into talking head positions.
I worked for a advertising agency back in the late 70's in NYC, I knew Barbera Walters when she was still a twenty someting Actress that got a gig on the Today Show. Everyone on the set hated her, she had a crap don't stink downward view of everyone there. She used to have fits when asked to do the Sally Hansen Nail product commercials that she thought beneath her.
Not more than talking head the lot of them.
Can Obama not control this man? I thought they had silenced him! What a disaster to let him back at it!!??
I didn't see this latest disaster. But I did see some news footage (partner was watching, not me - remember I don't watch political news on TV!!) where Rev Wright said something to the effect that Michelle Obama will be the first black woman to sleep in the Whitehouse - "legally"! What the?!? Even my partner cringed at that one...He is very embarressed by Rev. Wright!
what makes this soo much better is that Obama constantly tries to invoke the name and memory of Kennedy into his speeches. Now how in the hell can he go out there and try to repeat those words without having this to come back and bite him in the ass! I have to say Rev. Wright has just become one of my fav people in the world right now for destroying Obama's campaign one word at a time.

Mmmm....I wonder if Rev. Wright is angry at Obama who basically "threw him under the bus"...Is Wright intentionally trying to doom Obama's candidacy in retaliation? It's perfectly possible. Relationships which have a toxic foundation often have toxic outcomes. Is this what we are seeing? An angry Wright now saying whatever because Obama dissed him?!?

Implying that the others were whores naturally.
Oh! Random thought just popped in my head... If Obama says Hillary is using so called "republican tactics", then what is Rev. Wright using?
By the way why does everyone who has a hatred for Hillary Clinton like to point out how divisive she is. People realize that at one point she was a republican who interned for a republican congressman, and now she's a democratic senator... right. So with that small amount of knowledge wouldn't that on some twisted level really make her less divisive. I mean considering she can relate to both sides and she understands the inner workings of each party. Don't know just had to let that out i guess!

As an AA, I was offended when he claimed that AA culturally learn different from whites. I don't care if there was a study done on this. Why would he come out and speak about this? This does nothing but marginalize black and white americans.
Also making fun of Bostonians and the Kennedys? Comparing bad english to a dialect? Making crazy gestures while trying to demonstrate differences in music? His tone was harsh and he sounded angry when he talked about Europeans. I just think this was a disaster for Obama and a victory for Hill!:)

At this point Obama has only one choice infront of him. He has to come out Monday Morning and completely denounce Wright, and sever any and all ties from the church this man represents. Nothing less than that will do. Otherwise he can gracefully remove himself from the Democratic Primary. Wright, and Obama's eitist attitude have damaged him as a viable candidate for the General Elections in Novemberr.
It has been proven that Obama can not seperate himself, from Wright in the mind of the public and todays speeches have all about cemented that fact. Obama can and still will get themajority of the AA vote so long as he stays with wright. But he has lost the rest of the general public, the election map in PA proves it. IF he denounces Wright he will take a hit in the AA vote and will get Roasted by Wright in future speeches, just like Ophra. The college kid vote will neot necessaily be there come November, as that class will have graduated and face more pressing real world worries.
YOu can not win the US General election on the AA vote alone, no caucuses, winner take all contests that he has not been able to prove he can win already. He is a damaged candidate his peak was over with mississippi, and I think the only demographic he may take in NC after today will be the AA vote, he will loose some of the college kids that have been offended by wrigts moking of the New Englanders accent. Obama has to denounce and sever all ties else he should leave.

Yes there will be a great deal of this talked about all week.....but he did one thing I was screaming for. He came back and is talking to the media.
It took a brave man to do that and I am willing to give him credit for it.....that and saying Italian instead of Garlic Nose. While that is not an apology.....which I am still hoping for, anger will not justify more hate, if hate is what we believe he was promoting.
To me I read these pages and I see more anger and more hate. While the Reverend Wright has disgusted me with many of his words, as a liberal I would be lying if I said I hadn't stated similar thoughts out loud.
The man made some very outrageous statements and it pains me so much that they were made at a church and that tonight's speech seemed to use the excuse that black people are sooooo different from white people that he had to explain exactly how. That insulted me. So all one has to do is fall back on the color of ones skin to explain the difference in music.....hmmmmm I never learned that in all the time I was being taught voice for Musical Theater. Odd how he went on so much about that. To be honest it came very close to being racist in itself.....scratch that, to me it WAS racist, but it is time to stop this ridiculous back and forth. I am no better than him, and he is no better than me. Is he really just an America hating Rabble Rouser. He is just a man. A man with all his faults and all his outrage is no better than the rest of us, and no worse. It's time to start thinking about where we go from here. We as a people, an American people are better than this. We NEED to start showing it!

This is a very sad moment for me....very sad indeed.
My mom came here from Ireland in 1919 and she always said there was horrible discrimination of the Irish. The Irish were the "lowest of the Low" on the pecking order. Even the Italians were above them (and the Italians suffered plenty also.) Why is it that some (and I do mean just some) AA think they wrote the book on discrimination? And Slavery...millions of people of all color and creed have been bought and sold as slaves over the ages and it is still happening today. I am NOT speaking of slavery as anything but horrible but the African American community certainly was not the only segment in society that was considered less than human and bought and sold as cattle.

I'll explain for her. Obama has now been on the defensive for almost 6 weeks now, and thanks to "the Rev", he will remain so going into next weeks elections. He is terrible when he is on the defensive, and I love this whole Lincoln debate thing...he looks so weak. Even Obama supporters are starting to want to see this, because they want to see him batter Hillary around....but he knows he can't...this is so fun.
I tell you what else I think is happening. 2 months ago parents were listening to their kids, and because there was no baggage at the time parents appeased them and voted Obama. Thats not happening anymore. I have heard many people say that their parents are now taking a harder stance, and the kids are now slowly trickling back to Hillary.
i tell you what will be scary, and I fully expect it.
Black vote in NC: Obama 90 - Hill 10
White vote in NC: O 30 - H 70
Eventually the shi+ isgonna hit the fan, but you get the sense that more and more people (including Dean and the MSM) realize the only way we lose the General is by nominating Obama.

deficient or different? I listened to the entire speech. I enjoyed the performance - he has life and a vocabulary - but, as a teacher, I disapprove of the message. Still, I wish some of my CEOs and CIOs and CFOs had as much life in them as he has. He speaks on the topic of different or deficient. It is excellent to point out that different does not mean deficient. Of course. I take this for granted and lecture on it frequently. Don't most of us educated liberals know the difference between distinction and evaluation?
Let us examine what he is talking about: ACCENTS. He is talking about ACCENTS!
I don't know about his house, but in my house my mother would mock LBJ (nicely, but mocking for sure) when he said "Amiericans." I don't know about his life, but ALL MY LIFE I have heard people mock Bostonians for saying, "Paak the caaar." It's a national joke - and good natured. What African American accents is White America saying are bad? "Mon" for man? We like that. "S'hap" for "What is happening?" We like that. "S'up" for "What's up?" We like that. "Mutha" for "M.F.- er" well, ok, we use that.
I think America's love for the music that has emanated from Blacks shows just the opposite of the wedge this Reverand seems to want continually to pound between the races.
I think Wright is mixed up and doing no service to young students. In my last writing class, the three As I gave were to African American woman, and I didn't give them As because of affirmative action. I gave them As because they wrote good papers and used the English language properly. I didn't grade racially, by the way, but I was pleased when I realized who got the grades. I didn't attribute it to their race; I attributed to their minds and their intentions and their efforts. I have found that all races have most individual who can, do, and want to use English properly. they can still have accents. Accents are different from proper use of English.
-- I ain't got no proof, but I think he's talking about Whities who disapprove of "I ain't got no."I think he is talking about Whities who disapprove of "Me and Barack, we got ... " which his wife said in a speech rather than, "Brarack and I ..."
-- I think he is talking about "I ain't did nothin."
These are grammatical errors, not pronunication errors. [/B]I have found in all my teaching that young students of all races like to learn how to speak properly. I have also noted that many African Americans are bi-lingual - ability to speak very proper English and also very hip street talk; they mix it up as delightfully as the Spanish speakers mix up English and Spanish. That is different. That is fine. That is nice. But it says nothing at all about the distinction between proper grammar, improper grammar, and accents. I think that he is advocating improper grammar - right? It is his right, but it is my right to disagree, entertaining though he was for a man-in-a-suit.
I would like to "axe" Reverend Wright if the pronunciation of the word "ask" is one thing he is talking about Whitey not liking, because I'll agree there. I find that pronunciation grating to my ears. As a writing teacher, when I hear it, I gently correct the student when I can. I find that the students are happy to be corrected.
I think this Wright is an energizing speaker and I wish all men-in-suits would be so free to be expressive; however, I personally do not approve of the wedge he drives between races and the glorification of differences rather than what I believe we need to 'work on' which is the similarly of our souls.

Don't know just had to let that out i guess!

lol, you're killing me (in an internet way). I was thinking these exact same things last night but I was so impressed that Wright got into this topic and then delved so deeply into it that I had forgotten my thoughts about the topic. Thanks for reminding me.
-----------------------------------------------------------
By the way, did anybody notice the absolute rowdy laughter (that could barely be heard, but I could tell it was uproarious), whenever Wright would first mimic the way those different from himself would say or sing something?
Can anyone see the irony of that! You have a pastor preaching to the choir about how unfairly their own race is being perceived even as his audience is doubled over in laughter at his accurate portrayal of those who are different.

Because he is a phony. He says what he knows will resonate and makes himself rich doing it. I think Wright is ticked off that BO dumped him and this is his way of getting revenge. After all, Wright is all about revenge - you can tell that just from his sermons. In my mind, he is a false prophet. True ministers do not use the Lord's name in vain or spill forth hatred as part of their preaching.
Okay someone fill me in please. I heard a little, but truly with all the double talk going on, I just couldn't stay with that man. What did he say that is so explosive that FOX is waiting for a reply from the BO camp?
Wright just had a Q & A session with the National Press Club. He spoke for about an 1hr and 55min. During this time he gave many comments. Some of them were taken as very offensive and off the wall. They were on par with his statements of G*d d*mn America if not worse. He attempted to justify his contreversal remarks. I'm sure someone will post video or snippets of this. It will be extremely hard for the press to spin this as "positive and brave". He even suggested that he would take a Vice President position if offered.

Absolutely. My mother still has a little figurine of Kennedy in his rocking chair. Bad, bad move. The country will not give Obama a pass on any of this. Actually, they weren't giving him a pass anyway. Hillary won OH and TX. On the campaign Ohio trail, BO was getting grilled a lot about his church; and PA didn't welcome him either.
YES, Ted Kennedy not only backed him, he chose BO as an alternative to Hillary. Kennedy campaigned with him; Carolyn did the same. Their backing was a plot by Daschle, Kennedy, Kerry and others to prevent another Clinton in the White House. They figured that the people would be so taken with BO that he would win by a landslide. They said that personality would over the issues. WRONG!! We do care about the issues. To compare, BO to President Kennedy, and to even compare Michelle to Jacqueline Kennedy.....that boils my blood. I was 10 when the President assassinated. BO just lost more of the Catholic vote, middle American, and whoever else Wright offends. What a racist!!

I didn't hear the speech and can't comment on it. I did listen to some of the sermon posted on Fox. I felt that his stance on war, both generally and specifically regarding Iraq, was right. He laid bare the absurdity of using violence as a path to peace. He condemned Bush's imperialism that most Democrats have been condemning all along. As someone who participated in many demonstrations at the onset of Bush's war, I found his message on this topic inspiring. But then he started talking about Americans, white Americans, believing themselves deserving of God's favor. He used the horror of the white man's massacre of Native Americans, which I agree was indeed a horror, but he spoke as if this was something people continue to defend. As if all of us living today condone those terrible actions. He simply discounted the years of societal development and motion toward justice, (however slow it's been). He seemed to be in denial about any healing progress society has made. He picked at the wounds instead. He also threw lots of stones, heavy ones, while continuing to preach on the parable of taking the log out of your own eye before being able to see the speck in your neighbor's.
In any case, I'm heartened that several members of the forum have been able to see him as a more complex figure than simply a "hate-monger." I think if we were introduced to him in different circumstances, we might not be taking him so hard. Like I said on another thread, in the GDA speech, he seems to think the problems of the world are caused by everyone from Queen Isabella to Thomas Jefferson. Yet he seems to be endeared to Gadaffi. My husband was in the Navy and was on the receiving end of Libyan missiles. Wright never seems to mention that Gadaffi waged a violent war on Chad, financed the Munich massacre, and had hit squads that not only murdered hundreds of people, but he was possibly responsible for the downing of that airline over Scotland, and more!
Wright cherry picks who to blame for the world's problems. Nobody is proud of everything the US has done. If we had a time machine and could go back and fix wrongs in this world, it would be one thing, but his point in the sermon is still that the US DESERVED 9-11 because of a failed goverment and policies. We weren't in Iraq on 9-11. Yes, there was the first gulf war, but to say that going into Kuwait was bad yet Gadaffi calling for his "line of death" was okay is too ironic for me. He only seems to be agaisnt violence if it's against someone he reveres.
With Obama not being able to get away from the "Muslim" label (even though we know it's not true) and the radical label, having his preacher so closely tied to an Islamic Socialist terrorist won't help matters, especially since Wright has been to Libya. Wright is also separatist and wants to undue hundreds of years of positive work.

Well said, Les. Picking at wounds, throwing stones. That's Wright's MO and why his message is so schizophrenic and contradictory. He does makes good points, and I also agree with his stance on war, but unfortunately he has so much trapped rage that he can't seem to contain it, and that's what we're also picking up.
No he isn't just a hate-monger. It's not nearly that simple, but there's hate there. Or maybe it's impotent rage that's devolved into hatred. You can't listen to his rants or read his bigoted statements about other races and religions without hearing it. Compare him to MLK, who transcended the wound-picking and stone-throwing.
Here's my question: Can one man contain both hope and hate? Obviously they want us to hear the hope, but his hate keeps seeping through and corrupting his message.

The thing is, it's NOT just his preacher that's tied to an Islamic Socialist terrorist. The man whose campaign Obama interjected himself into is even more closely tied to Gaddafi then Jeremiah Wright is. Besides Obama, Gaddafi also supported Odinga's campaign. Odinga and Gaddafi are business partners! More specifically, the oil business. Odinga is unequivocally an Islamic Socialist and he and Gaddafi both share the vision of Africa becoming a Pan African/Islamic socialist nation. Africa uniting into one country isn't happening anytime soon but Odinga's going to at least impose his vision on Kenya making it an Islamic Socialist country basically modeled after Gaddafi's government.
Obama has the right to involve himself with anyone's campaign to become leader of any country but he needs to be asked publicly how he can be a proponent of democracy and freedom while supporting a man to become leader of Kenya who wants to overthrow democracy and impose Islamic law and socialism.
You guys are probably already sick to death of me talking about this but I think it's the subject that if shoved done the media's throats through constant blogging, is going to be the subject that nails Obama's political ambitions shut.
Obama is so deeply rooted in with the oil people and the black nationalist and Islamic people that his support of Odinga plays to them all and he has been and will continue to be rewarded financially for it. He's received so much support from the middle east and Muslims due to his campaigning for Odinga. Any American who supports a man who wants to overthrow democracy and replace it with Islamic law is a true hero. Same with the black nationalists: Wright Farrakhan Panthers etc...His support of Odinga, because of his pan African vision, makes Obama a hero. He's a hero with communists who believe that any American who would support a socialist in his quest to replace democracy with socialism is a hero. The one thing it doesn't do is make Obama a hero with Americans who believe in democracy and freedom because his support of Odinga contradicts American ideology 100%!!
Please people, please blog this simple question and force people to start talking about this:
How can Obama claim to be a proponent of democracy and freedom while supporting Odinga, a man who wants to overthrow democracy in Kenya and impose Islamic law and socialism?

Wright says:
Attacks on him are really attacks on the black church, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. said in a speech to the National Press Club in Washington on Monday, in which he mounted a spirited defense of views and sermons that have become an issue in the presidential campaign because Senator Barack Obama attended his church for many years.

I can't believe any AA would believe that and I'm pretty sure that not all AA's subscribe to Rev. Wright's beliefs. In all my life, I have never come across such hate-filled rhetoric. What is this supposed man of God thinking?

The Obamabots LOVED Wright's speech. They came away with "a completely different view of the man." And if you didn't, it's because you didn't really listen:

Obama is going to look like he's lost contact with reality and is totally irresponsible after outspending hIllary 5 - 1. HIllary seems poised, solid while Obama is frantically spending, burning himself out at this point. To say he's a disappointment is a huge understatement. Obama can't deliver and the irresponsible spending just indicates how desperate he is, how out of tune with people he is, how he feel money will buy his votes, in spite of his inabilty to perform and the controversies swirling madly around him.
And Mr. Wright won't go away. His own pastor. Well, he sold Wright down the river, and now, Wright is giving it back; I guess it's part of the old testament; an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth. Obama shouldn't have sold his pastor down the river as he did in order to further his poltical career.

Here's my CNN comment awaiting moderation:
I listened to Wright's entire speech last night. He is now injecting race into music theory by suggesting whites emphasize counts 1&3 and blacks emphasize 2&4. Wright states that whites tell blacks they are clapping wrong because of this difference in music theory. Could this man be anymore divisive? Leave it to Wright to make sheet music the newest racial divide. This man has set back racial relations about 50 years! Retire Already!!
thanks for listening... hopefully CNN will, too!

I was getting my nails done today with my mom and they showed Wright on Inside Edition and I said "I hope he keeps talking, I'm loving this" I mean, obviously, I don't like what he has to say but he isn't going away and he keeps shooting his mouth off and the more he does it, the more Obama sinks deeper and deeper.

Hillary has not won anything yet, though I must say it looks a lot better today than it did 2 weeks ago. BO has been quaking in his boots for several weeks now, which is why his surrogates had been calling for Hillary to step aside, though I knew she never would so I wondered why they were doing it. But now you know why the surrogates were doing it - they knew about Rev Wright and just like White Women- he was a problem. This is no time to relax - this is the time for calling, canvassing, donating and spreading the word. There have been too many twists and turns to this campaign to become complacent!

can you name a few examples? (of the very controversial comments...) I couldn't stand to watch him...
As I understand it, he attempted to defend most if not all of the inflammatory sound bites from his sermons, including GD America. He did not apologize for them or distance himself. When asked about Farakahn, he said Farakahn is one of the most important voice today (paraphrasing). When he talks, the black community listens.
Of course, there was much more. We'll be hearing about it!

I agree! Obama is beginning to shake in his boots. Wright is doing nothing more than bringing him down everytime he appears on TV and opens his mouth. He knows that he cannot debate Hillary again and have it come out in his favor. I think it's funny thaat the Obama camp is suggesting that Wright take a very long vacation.:D:p:D
I want Wright to talk until he runs out of breath. The more he talks, the more he looks like the King of Division. I hope this makes people question how Obama could sit in church and listen to this man.

He's angry alright. However, he is a brilliant man. I respect him more than I respect Obama. I have no respect for Obama. I agree with some of what Wright says but then he falls off the deep end and I lose him, so I don't really know what to think of him except that he seems to be a bitter separatist. But heck, what do I know, Imma typical white person. I've never put a klan robe and I've never owned a slave and I have many black friends including a black godchild for whatever that's worth.:o

I'm a little confused why anyone here thinks this guy is charming. I haven't heard the speech, but I've read excerpts from it. There is nothing in the least bit charming in what I've read. The man is an ignorant a$#hole. He is steeped in hate and worn out bigotry. So we're gonna bring back the ever popular different races are genetically disposed to different types of learning crap? Well, that's original. I believe the white supremists beat Wright to that one some time ago. I suppose AA folks dance good and white folk ain't got no rhythm. (By the way have you seen Barack try and dance? Maybe his white side is from the knees down, eh Rev. Wrong?)
So people want to defend Wright's incredible humanity, 'eh? Perhaps those who find themselves entranced with him should go back and look at some of the videos with him denigrating every race on the face of the earth that he could spew out. Maybe you'd like to re-visit the things he said about Hillary and Bill or his dry humping the podium at the pulpit. Yeah, he's charming. He's incredibly charming. And folks, exactly what part of "God damn America" do you not understand? This after 9/11? This, a sermon on 9/11? I don't have a problem finding the common humanity with all of us here on this spinning orb, but let's not put our heads in a bleach bucket to pretend we haven't seen and heard what we have.
The amount of racial invectives from this putz, rivals anything I have ever seen-- and for some bizarre reason our local community TV station caught up in free speech televised some nice nazis giving lectures a couple of years ago. I've heard real spew. And this is real spew from Wright. He ain't charming, folks. He's viral.
You want to read an AA guy's take on this Wright bull-pucky? Go to stop-Obama.org and read what Jamal has to say.

It infuriated me. He was making fun of two of the greatest civil rights fighters of that century, John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson. I hope it airs alot, but I had not seen it since. The media seemed to want to concentrate on other aspects of the speech.
This has to play havoc with IN and NC voters. Anyone over 50 will remember both Presidents, especially Kennedy; he was so beloved. It really is a slap in the face to the whole Kennedy family. Shame on Wright.

I watched the man who introduced Wright and the first few sentences of Wright and that was about all I could take. It was hateful from the beginning. I just thought I'd come here to be filled in.
Did he really make fun of southerners??? We are from TN. We pledged never to watch cnn again when they said Obama won all of the southern states. Where is TN you idiots. Deep in the south and if I recall it went for Hillary in a land slide.
If Wright is making fun of southerners.....watch out...NC won't like it.
he was making fun of all dialects...I live in Ohio but grew up in Massachusetts, so his cut on how Boston people talk really infuriated me, I still have a ton of family there!!! But I want him to keep talking because it only hurts BO!!
What was said on his site??
The more modest supporters were equally confused as to what was going on that morning. They were wondering if this was a smoke screen stunt in preparation for a major speech or something. The more ardent and hardcore Obama supporters thought Wright's speech was "great", and that he should be Vice President. Some believed that Obama should give Wright and offer and the co-ticket would be a candidacy of "hope". Complete lunacy...
Sample Comment:
The test of the intelligence of Americans! There was nothing that was controversial that was said by wright or obama...but the media is stuck on stupid....lets see where the american people are...
Another Sample Comment:
Jeremiah Wright is a prophetic voice worth listening to.
Obama would like everyone to just forget about his 20 year association with Rev. Wright.
I don't think so.
