I read this blog late last night and after reading this, it is apparent that something weird is going on regarding Obama! This is frightening and we must find out! News media have to be aware of this. This was the first time that I had read about his connection to this man, Daryl Obama Prevost. Is there a conspiracy and who is involved? Everyone should blog this to at least one other site. As soon as I read this I started blogging it. Why do the Superdelegates keep going to Obama with all of the negative news coming out about him???

I was doing a search on opensecrets.org and I typed in "obama." I found this individual who had donated quite a bit of money to BO named Darryl Obama-Prevost. After some searching on him, I found this website:
http://www.driveobama.4t.com/index_3.html
I also found this one:
http://ceedtvafrica.net/
Some curious links on the first site, particularly to "Oprah and Prime Minister Odinga of Kenya to be honored". The Blog link is also interesting.
I know BO's connections with Kenya and the Middle East have been written about extensively, but this little search really brought it home to me. I sooooo question BO's allegiances...

Yes, why is that date familar? Haven't the SD's been hinting that this is when the race will be over? Please fill me in. I have been pondering this Africa connection for quite some time and can only come to one conclusion. Our politicians are driven by one thing, and one thing only....money. And money generally means Oil. Could it be that Africa has a pot of gold (Oil) under it's surface? What are americans not being told?

About this series
The fate of Africa's huge crude oil reserves is important not just for Africans, but also for Americans, who use millions of barrels of oil imported from Africa every day. In this three-part series, the Globe's Africa bureau chief, John Donnelly, examines the issue.

This is disgusting albeit not suprising. So once again the worlds richest, most powerful are profiting off the broken backs of the indigienous people. Only this time it's in Africa. (And I am ashamed I didn't know of this sooner) I think I'm gonna get sick.
So we, as americans must find our way off of oil. And underscores Hillary's pledge for green energy. Where is Al (Mr. Green) Gore? And why is he not speaking out about this? Where's his sense of decency?

LJSNaustin and Sudhakm and Christines,
Thank you so much for your research! I'll do some more digging on this later this afternoon. I do believe your work has hit the proverbial "gold mine". This is what it is ALL about. It needs MSM's full attention or else we will have a 3rd GWB term if BO gets in office. It's oil and always has been. And to think that Barack may also in some small way be connected with the diamond mines to boot? This is too much. He and all his political cronies need to be exposed! My, my, my but they have done a masterful job of keeping the public eyes off their true agenda. WOW!

In a nutshell, Barack and thus all the politicians and oil companies in his camp are pilfering Africa's oil reserves for their own financial gain. If the USA goes green with energy, their "money tree" drys up, limiting their power and own financial gains. It's a dirty little secret and explains how Barack has been able to garner soooo much money for his campaign.
In an unauthorized biography by Kitty Kelly, she exposes the Bush Dynasty as nothing more than opportunists who use war and energy resources as a way to pilfer the american coffers. (sound familar?) This goes back several generations.
America and Americans are being "sold out" to the highest bidder. You may want to do some research on Dubai and how it is becoming THE PLACE for wealthy americans to go to live. They have actually built a minature "world" where you can buy your own "country" to live in. It's mind boggeling.

I've said it elsewhere he doesn't have the experience and it shows...look at Afghanistan, he is running the committee that over-sees NATO, and has not held one meeting; he could simply have had one meeting to outline the agenda then, just like a President would do, DELEGATE control to a subordinate while he campaigns. It maybe a tactic to hide how he would handle things as Prez, but the Taliban just attempted to assassinate the Afghan prez, NATO has been begging for forces for months and he is still, by his actions, ignoring it.

I love it!! YES! Odinga is the most important aspect of this whole election. Reverend Wright doesn't hold a candle to Odinga!! That's why the media talks about Wright-so no one will talk about Odinga.
Go to the New York Times and blog about Odinga. I guarantee that your blog will NEVER get past the moderators. The mere mention of Odinga no matter how relevant your blog is to an article in the Times, won't see the light of day! Try it! I've been blogging Odinga for a long time now. The Washington Post is a good online paper because they don't moderate however, your blog will get buried under 500 other blogs.
Just short of being a plant at an Obama rally and having the good fortune to be called on to make him answer a question about Odinga and having the added good fortune of it making the news...I don't know what it will take to get Odinga into the MSM news! It's a fricking conspiracy!!
This is the question I've blogged a million times (to no response):
How does Barack Obama reconcile his claim of being a proponent of democracy and freedom while supporting the campaign of Raila Odinga, a Muslim socialist, whose first order of business if elected, was to replace Kenya's democracy with Islamic law and socialism?
Gaddafi also supported Odinga's campaign. They're business partners. It's the oil business (auchi and rezko also)
Odinga is my favorite subject. I'll tell you what I've found out later. Right now I have to go to my daughter's school to pick up Marshmallow, the classroom guinea pig :)

Yes, Kitty Kelly is a bit of a gossip. However, she has never been successfully sued for slander. Regarding this particular book, she was minimized as a "nut" by the Bush family, but they never disputed her claims. And of course, the Bush legacy has been cleaned up of any "unflattering" documentation. (Seeing how senior was in the CIA and all.....) Not the best source by any means, put she does help put things into perspective and makes you wonder....

Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the investigative expertise to put all the things I've found into a clear package...just yet. I do think this Darryl Obama-Prevost (I've found him as Darryl Prevost and Darryl Prevost Haffeh) is worthy of more research. It is clear that he is very involved in promoting BO and has vested interests in Africa, textiles, and precious jewels/mining.
The bad part is that there are probably at least a hundred more people just like this guy.
I'm still looking for the site I came across last night which also listed both Alice Walker and Tiger Woods among those (BO, MO, and Oprah) who will be receiving awards at this June 15 event at Stanford and/or Berkeley.

Excerpts from 2006 Newsweek article:
America the Dangerous?
Activist and financier George Soros on the global energy crisis and why he thinks the United States has become an obstacle to a stable and just world.
By Susanna Schrobsdorff | Newsweek Web Exclusive
"George Soros has assigned himself a daunting mission. "Changing the attitude and policies of the United States remains my top priority," he writes in the introduction to his latest book, " The Age of Fallibility " ( PublicAffairs ). The billionaire investor is set on convincing Americans to renounce the idea of a "war on terror" because he believes that an "endless" war against an invisible enemy is counterproductive and dangerous. He argues that since the attacks of September 11, the Bush administration has suffered from a kind of infallibility complex which impedes progress and obscures reality........
"How is this situation affecting the global economy?
We are facing a global energy crisis which is very complex because it has many ingredients, starting with global warming and the peaking of oil discoveries. And there's the dependence of many of the major industrial countries on sources of energy from politically unstable areas of the world and the behavior of some of the energy rich countries like Iran and Venezuela and Russia exploiting the high price of oil and their control of the supply. So we are in fact in a global energy crisis. That instability has certainly added $20-$30 to the price of oil."

http://globalresearch.ca/articles/TAL307A.html
"According to Clark, Soros’ International Crisis Group “boasts such ‘independent’ luminaries as the former national security advisers Zbigniew Brzezinki and Richard Allen, as well as General Wesley Clark, once NATO supreme allied commander for Europe. The group’s vice-chairman is the former congressman Stephen Solarz, once described as ‘the Israel lobby’s chief legislative tactician on Capitol Hill’ and a signatory, along with the likes of Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz, to a notorious letter to President Clinton in 1998 calling for a ‘comprehensive political and military strategy for brining down Saddam and his regime’.”
So much for Soros’ opposition to Bush’s Iraq policies.
There’s more! Who are Soros’s business partners at the Carlyle Group---one of the world’s largest private equity funds, which makes most of this profit from defense contracts? They include the former secretary of state James Baker and Frank Carlucci, former defense secretary, George Bush, Sr, and “until recently, the estranged relatives of Osama BinLaden.” Soros has invested more than $100 million in Carlyle, Clark tells us.
He also points out that “Soros may not, as sometimes suggested, be a fully paid-up CIA agent. But that his corporations and NGOS are closely wrapped up in U.S. expansionism cannot seriously be doubted.”
This brings us back to the question; “why has Soros lambasted Bush?” The answer lies in understanding that, more than ever, within the Wall Street power elite there may be differences in tactics but seldom are there significant differences in the end goal---opening the way for the maximization of corporate profits everywhere around the world. Today, there is basically a oneness of purpose in promoting U.S. imperial dominance, and in the process, attempting to solve a deepening global economic crisis by controlling diminishing petroleum and energy resources.
How does this play out where Soros is concerned? As Clark points out, “Soros is angry not at Bush’s aims---of expanding Pax Americana and making the world safe for global capitalists like himself—but with the crass and blundering way Bush is going about it. By making U.S. ambitions so clear, the Bush gang has committed the cardinal sin of giving the game away. For years, Soros and his NGOs have gone about their work extending the boundaries of the ‘free world’ so skillfully that hardly anyone noticed. Now a Texan redneck and a gang of overzealous neo-cons have blown it”
Soros’ way is to use a few billion dollars, some NGOs and a “nod and wink from the U.S. State department” to bring down foreign governments that are “bad for business” to seize a nation’s assets, and even get thanked for your ‘benevolence,’” according to Clark. This method has worked for Soros and his cohorts."

Book: Poisoned Wells: The Dirty Politics of African Oil
Reviews:
"Nicholas Shaxson has traveled to some of the most dangerous and dysfunctional nations on the planet, delved into the murky depths of the African oil business and emerged with a grisly but compelling tale of greed, corruption, and violence. There are still some who believe that oil can rescue Africa from poverty at the same time as saving America from its fatal dependence on suppliers in the Middle East. In this remarkable book, the fruit of years of painstaking research, Shaxson exposes oil as a destroyer, not a savior, of all that is best in Africa."
--Victor Mallet, Asia editor, Financial Times, and author of The Trouble with Tigers: The Rise and Fall of South-East Asia
"This is a splendid book about a crucial subject. We need oil. We want the countries that sell it to us to be stable. But oil itself destabilizes them, unless they were mature democracies before they discovered it. Nicholas Shaxson has put in more legwork in wrecked African petro-states than any other reporter I can think of. The result is a cracking tale of blood, champagne and the 'Devil's excrement.'"

Conspiracy theory?
Brzezinski Seizing Control
Over US Policy In
Slow-Motion Coup
By Webster G. Tarpley
2-23-8
WASHINGTON DC -- Events of the past few days indicate that the Zbigniew Brzezinski faction of lunatic Russia haters have now won the upper hand inside the secret councils of the Anglo-American finance oligarchy, displacing the hitherto dominant George Shultz-neocon faction. Although George Bush and his cronies still occupy the White House, the policies that are being carried out are coming from the Brzezinski left CIA machine. Brzezinski has returned to public prominence in recent months due to his role as top establishment controller for the Obama campaign.
5. BUSH IN AFRICA - President Bush may not know what he is doing on his current visit to five African countries, but Zbigniew Brzezinski knows exactly what the mission is. The Brzezinski policy is to foment destabilization and chaos in Africa under the auspices of the new United States African command (US-AFRICOM), all for the purpose of driving the Chinese out of Africa. As Zbigniew announced on November 30, 2007 in the Washington Post, he intends to cut off Chinese access to oil, other energy sources, and strategic raw materials on the African continent. Since the Anglo-Americans control the Persian Gulf by direct military occupation, this is tantamount to a policy of driving the Chinese in on Eastern Siberia. Brzezinski believes that if the Chinese cannot get their oil from Africa, they will be forced to attempt the military seizure of Russia's oil wells in the Far East, where there is much oil and very few Russians. Both Moscow and Beijing know exactly what Brzezinski is doing in this regard. This is the kind of harebrained scheming by Lord Astor, Lady Astor and Sir Neville Chamberlain which helped to bring about World War II. The idea then was to play Hitler against Stalin and get rid of both of them that way. When that blew up in the faces of the British, the result was World War II. This time, it may well be thermonuclear World War III.

Hey Troopers:
Maybe, we're playing this whole thing wrong. Here we've been contacting all of the news people... WHAT ABOUT THE GOP?
The reason I mention this, "who's got the most to gain" might have the resources to investigate where we can't. I've sent some things to FOX regarding the caucus fraud but I think this might be a better approach on this subject. Let's give the republicans some more "negative food" to serve.

We have all contributed a great deal in exposing Barack and his shady associates. We also have some very articulate writers here. What does everyone think about putting just one letter together, perhaps directed to the Superdelegates exposing his shortcomings and a list of links that they can investigate for themselves. This could be sent both by mass email and mail to the Superdelegates. It could also be sent to all media and political websites as a Cc. (Courtesy Copy) This way, no one can say they never saw or heard any of this prior to the nomination. Hold the Supers feet to the fire so to speak. Force them to look at these issues or at the very least explain themselves for backing Barack.
By God, if the MSM won't do the reporting we sure as heck can.

"China's Mixed Role in Africa"
Op-Ed, The Boston Globe
June 23, 2007
CHINA is transforming Africa, for good and ill. The United States and other traditional trading and aid partners of Africa need to help Africans craft policies that welcome Chinese investment and trade but condemn the taking of African jobs and the destruction of African industries. Africa and the West also need to dissuade China from supporting Africa's most reviled dictatorships.
China has become the largest new investor, trader, buyer, and aid donor in a raft of African countries and a major new economic force in sub-Saharan Africa . Chinese trade with Africa is growing at 50 percent a year. Already, that trade has jumped in value from $10 billion in 2000 to $25 billion last year. (US trade with sub-Saharan Africa in 2005 totaled nearly $61 billion.) China is building roads, railways, harbors, petrochemical installations, and military barracks; it is pumping oil, farming, taking trees, supplying laborers, and offering physicians. A number of African nations now depend critically on Chinese cash and initiative.
Africans welcome Chinese aid -- a promised $20 billion -- because it comes without immediately obvious strings (the Taiwanese question aside). For that reason, and because the Chinese espouse fundamentally different approaches to governance questions than the West does, the West (and Africa) should now encourage China to embrace positive principles for Africa's growth. China is a possible force for good in Africa; the West should help harness that potential.

Oil and Development in Africa
Confronting a troubled past and an uncertain future
BY ANDREW MILLER
In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Iraq War, and growing feelings of antipathy toward the United States in the Middle East, many American energy and security experts have come to an important conclusion: the United States needs to decrease its reliance on oil from the Arab world. The question then becomes to where should America turn for a more reliable source of oil.
Increasingly, sub-Saharan Africa is being touted as America ’s next great hope for a secure, reliable source of oil. Both Vice-President Dick Cheney’s 2001 National Energy Policy Report and the quasi-governmental African Oil Policy Initiative Group indicate that the United States seems intent on establishing a stronger foothold in the African oil market.
America is not the only country with its sights set on African oil. China ’s state oil company, Sinopec, has negotiated contracts with more than half a dozen African countries. Dutch-British oil giant Shell has maintained its notorious ties to the Nigerian government for decades and continues to explore opportunities elsewhere in the continent. Canadian, Russian, French, and Australian oil companies have also made forays into African oil markets.
This ever-increasing focus on oil in sub-Saharan Africa makes sense. Oil exploration is expanding more quickly in Africa than anywhere else in the world. While OPEC struggles to keep up supply, the gap between potential reserves and current oil output in many African states is tremendous. African nations are also, on the whole, more amenable than Middle Eastern ones to working with Western governments.
But this potential does not come without room for trouble. Sub-Saharan African governments face the challenge of converting oil revenue into sustainable development, as even the richest oil-producing African states face continuously abject poverty. This reliance on oil also comes with the vulnerability to daily fluctuations of oil prices, and the negative environmental impact of oil exploration. How African nations address these questions could hold the key to their stability and prosperity over the next several decades.
Ricardo Hausmann, development economist and professor at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, puts more blame on self-serving government officials. “When oil money goes into government coffers, there are enormous incentives to try to organize to get that money into your own pockets. It increases pressure to seek wealth.” Virtually every major oil-producing nation in Africa , especially Nigeria , has been criticized for its corrupt handling of oil revenue.
Oil has demonstrated in recent years its dangerous potential to fuel conflict and sustain brutal dictatorships.
This ongoing violence has not only affected the lives of the region’s people, but it has also made oil production increasingly unpredictable and difficult.
Through sound economic planning, good governance, public-private partnership, and environmental protection, oil could end up a blessing rather than a curse for the people of Africa.

Boston Globe: Nations eye Africa's oil supply
Analysts urge steps to avoid corruption
By John Donnelly, Globe Staff | July 31, 2004
JOHANNESBURG -- The world's growing demand for oil and the fears of supply interruption is expected to force the United States and other nations to increasingly rely on another volatile region -- central and western Africa.
Article Tools
Several sub-Saharan African nations, notably Nigeria and Angola, are in the early years of an extended oil boom that could supply the United States with 20 percent of its imported oil in the next decade, analysts predict.
In recent months, sub-Saharan African oil -- a light, sweet crude that becomes high-grade gasoline -- has risen in potential value because of the instability of oil supplies worldwide, as evidenced by the continuing unrest in the Middle East and the threat last week by the Russian company Yukos to halt production.
In the next seven to 10 years, sub-Saharan Africa is expected to add 2.5 to 3 million barrels a day to the world market -- a significant amount considering that today world oil producers, almost all at full capacity, have 1.5- to 2-million barrels daily surplus, a small cushion in case trouble arises with one of the major producers.
Nigeria, the fifth-largest supplier to the United States, and Angola, the ninth-largest, are the region's biggest oil producers. Smaller producers include Cameroon, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon, while the islands of Sao Tome and Principe have proven reserves and hope to produce oil in roughly five years.
Some warned, though, it will not be easy to get rid of corruption. "It's a huge political challenge for Nigeria," said David L. Goldwyn of Goldwyn International Strategies, a Washington lobbying group. "Very little of the money has ever reached the people of the Niger Delta. Will it now?"

"We can learn a lot from China," she said.
"The path through which China has traveled in the reduction of poverty levels is certainly one that provides hope Africa in many ways especially in agriculture. I really look forward to exploring how China's experience can be beneficial to Africa."

Back on 3-16-08 I wrote a post on this site about my thoughts on the state of this country and the "oil conspiracy". At that time I saw this as a simple matter of Bush and his flunkies greed and corruption. I still see the rise of gas and heating fuel in this country as a well planned manipulation to put pressure on the American people to force them to say "uncle" and have them beg for relief. In my opinion, drilling in Alaska and other sensitive areas would be sold as the way out of this crisis and would be the Bush gift to "big oil", his friends and perhaps to his own family. But, not until I read this post did I ever or could I ever have imagined how HUGE this is! I applaud all of you who have researched this and provided these links, that when put together show a very disturbing but clear picture of the magnitude of the evil that exists at the "top". The interwoven webs of power and corruption make it understandable how people can mysteriously die, disappear, end up in prison or be written off as "nuts", when they "connect the dots" and start to spread the truth. This is SPOOKY!

I say we also send the thread to Rev. Wright. He's a smart guy and on many levels understands just how deep the imperialist roots go. On the one hand, he might applaud the influx of global trade to Africa. However, he knows that this will herald a new era of rampant US/Euro imperialism at the expense of Africans, lining the pockets of the installed government few. If we can reach him and he can see that BO IS WORKING IN CONCERT WITH TOPDOGS TO THROW AFRICANS UNDER THE BUS, he can influence the black vote!
China and US/Euros are fighting for control of the lionshare of the spoils. World Bank is trying to make deals with the Chinese because they've got the financial muscle.
Although an Afrocentric economic policy, especially with respect to natural resources, will reduce US vested interest in Middle East conflicts, those will not go away and our ally, Israel will remain in the cross hairs. Iran and Pakistan will continue their fundamentalist expansion, with the continued help of the Chinese and Russians and pose a threat to the US. All this keeps the US distracted, which is a very sensible move on the part of the Chinese who are more interested in global takeover, make no mistake.
China is playing a very strategic and dangerous game of international control, systematically undermining US economy on every front. While we play with ourselves in Iraq, they are funding our enemies, undercutting our economy, holding our markers and buying out our options in new markets.
BO is the ideal candidate to leverage our way out of the Middle East and into African markets. It will help the top tier game players, probably some US economic interests in general and toss the people of the Middle East and Africa into the hands of zealots and despots. Especially when the market for their main export, oil, dries up and their economies go south.
It's not going to be pretty.

Re: Race for Democratic Nominee
Dear Madam/Sir,
We have all been witness to one of the most contentious Democratic Primary Races in recent history. Many of us have become engaged in politics for the very first time. We are excited and energized by the candidates. Our very first woman and our very first African American. Who would have thought it possible? This is the result of a diversified Democratic Party from all walks of life, who still believe in the American dream and that Americans can do anything they set their mind to.
As this race has tightened over the last few months, it has given many of us a moment to pause and really delve into the candidates, their policies, abilities and character. Many powerful politicians have announced their support for one candidate or another, adding to the suspense and shocking many with their choices. We are impassioned about our candidates like never before.
But in this moment of excitement and exhilaration something very important has been overlooked. Who are these candidates and wherest did they come? Of course we all feel that we know Hillary Clinton having grown together watching her trials and tribulations. But what of Senator Obama? Many are asking who this phenomenon is and what is his background? We all know about the media bias that has so unashamedly backed Obama. We have witnessed careers made and lost throughout this campaign. Many of us have been researching the candidates and have been blogging about their history. Much of the information fell on deft ears and for months, unfavorable blogs about Obama were simply deleted. In particular, blogs regarding Obama’s church, minister and the unsavory characters whom Obama surrounded himself with.
It was due to this concerted Main Stream Media effort to “block” information that a website was born, by a gentleman known only as Murray, called the HillaryClintonForum.Net. You see, all other forums where Hillary supporters would go to discuss the candidates would ultimately be bombarded by pro Obama supporters, often with language so vile, offensive and off issue that many of us just gave up trying. A bully tactic to be sure. But we were undaunted as we so believe in our candidates abilities to restore the good standing and stability, our great nation has always enjoyed. After eight (8) horrific years of a George W. Bush administration, we Americans know that this will be a daunting task. One certainly would have to question a newcomer’s ability to take on such a task. Obama is inspiring to be sure, but what of his history?
We would like to take this opportunity to share with you a compilation of information regarding Senator Barack Obama. Information that you will seldom hear mentioned on media outlets. Information that is insightful into the life and history of Barack Obama. Not his story, written by him but our story of what, through much research and thirst for information we have compiled. The following links provided have been amassed through hard work and dedication of members at the HillaryClintonForum.net and are the result of hundreds of hours of research that the media should have made available to the public. They are from various writers, columnists and journalists. Some are factual and some are speculation. But all provide a deeper understanding of who this candidate is and they raise some very alarming insight.
We hope you will take the time to read at least some of this information before making a concrete decision as to who is best equipped to lead our nation. Information that you may or may not be aware of. We feel it is our duty as American Citizens to ensure that as much information as possible is provided to all Americans so that each and every one of us can make the most informed decision as possible. We have all heard that the DNC cannot deny the nomination to the first African American candidate. This is a weak argument as the same could be said about our first female candidate. The current controversies’ surrounding Senator Obama and his willingness to say whatever is politically convenient has most certainly brought into question his candor. Regarding MI and FL, we will leave you with this quote:

No Problem, I just saw a few slight errors. I was taught to only change errors and allow the author his own voice in the writing. Changing too much syntax or anything else can alter the message. I do think it needs to go out to many more places than just the DNC and SDs. It requires a mass mailing at this point. I think the only way to get Obama out of the race is to cripple him and disqualify him. The link about Ayers and Dorhn on the forum today is a must. It has an interview with Greta within the text of NOQUARTER article. Also, of course, you need a return address at the top, maybe just the forum address to make it look professional.

This is all about oil and Obama is in bed with the Bush administration. Why is it that all the media's focus back in late 2006/early 2007 was on obama supporting Odinga's election and simply pointing out the Muslim, the family and tribal connections...and then it was gone. No more talk about it and not one mention about the oil connection.
No US senator would interject himself into another country's election without the permission of the United States government! The US has been behind every president in Kenya so far. They weren't going to let Obama interfere if they didn't want President Mwai Kibaki OUT!
Mathews and Olbermann are sucking on the teats of Obama. Obama's sucking on the teats of Soros who happens to be sucking on the teats of Bush and Cheney!
Mwai Kibaki is going to end up dead and very soon. Odinga will become president of Kenya. The Bush administration and Obama are knowingly putting into power an Islamic Socialist. They don't care if Odinga imposes Sharia law on Kenya as long as our oil interests are protected. Bush also doesn't care that by aligning ourselves with Odinga means we're aligning ourselves with GADDAFI since Odinga and Gaddafi are oil business partners.
This is why Obama is surronded by Middle Eastern oil people including Auchi and Rezko.
What's fascinating is that Odinga's goal, like Obama's brother Roy, is to RID Africa of all China and US influence. Bush is using Obama and Odinga but they don't care because Obama thinks he's got a free ride to power and will eventually have a stake in the oil with Odinga but NOT the US. Odinga doesn't care because the US helped him get to be Prime Minister (and soon he'll be President of Kenya) and he ran in 2002 for Kenya's Presidency and lost and he would have lost again. I'm sure Odinga thinks he's using Bush and will rid Kenya soon enough of Western Influence.
I'm writing so fast right now (with my 2 fingers) so I hope I'm making sense. But this is all about oil!!!!!
Obama+Soros+Bush=OIL....This is what's happening. Fox asked today why are some Republicans running ads against Obama in NC? They said it was because they could run an easier campaign against Hillary because they know her style of campaigning. My guess is because there are some Republicans that don't like what's going on.
We must blog about oil.

The post was submitted by WV4Hillary on April 28, 2008 titled McAuliffe promises that the race will be over by June 15
Terry McAuliffe told a newspaper friend that he promised this race would be all over by June 15. The man asked him and MacAuliffe told him without any hesitation that the race will be all over by June 15th. You guys, I suck at writing but here's what I put on the No Quarter oil thread:
Hillary wants the gas tax holiday and wants to tax the oil companies while Obama doesn’t. He and his supporters say that it will only save consumers around $20-$30 bucks. What they don’t seem to address is the tax on the oil companies. I personally would love to save only $20 if it means that the oil companies will get the pump shoved right up their greedy a$! Obama’s not interested in saving consumers a buck on gas if it means taxing the oil companies. Why? Because he’s making love to them right now and they’re going to fund his general election. Why do you think Obama interjected himself in Kenya’s elections? He didn’t just get behind Odinga, the Islamic Socialist, because of their family and tribal connections or because he’s naive. What US Senator would interject themselves into the election of another country without the permission of the United States government? It doesn’t happen. Odinga is a very wealthy man. He’s in the oil business with Gaddafi. Congratulations America, So are we!
Bush sent over 4000 US soldiers to their death in Iraq in the name of democracy. Bush sent Obama and Dicky Morris to Kenya to get Raila Odinga elected President even if it meant that Kenya’s democracy would be replaced by Sharia law and socialism. It’s quite a contradiction. The only common denominator is oil. Ask George Soros.
AND
Susaninbosque said: These oil companies may in fact be paying for one more item which is more bothersome to me and that would be Barack Obama’s campaign…
———————————–
Susan, you’re right on target. Obama will have his whole general election funded by the oil money. Bush and Cheney know this. Our government sent Obama to Kenya to help Raila Odinga get elected as President for oil. Obama’s in bed with the Bush administration.
Bush administration and Obama are responsible for the deaths of 1200 Kenyans and the 300,000 displaced Kenyans due to the violence that Occurred after Odinga lost the election. They did this! Bush and Obama did this and they did it for oil! Raila Odinga is a complete buffoon. His eccentricities reminds me of Idi Amin only he doesn’t have the same ability to gain power and control like Amin. Odinga couldn’t win an election without the help of the US government. The US Ambassador to Kenya, Michael Ranneberger, just announced Bush would be sending an additional 25 million to Kenya to help the displaced. Guilt money indeed. But hey, Bush does what he has to do to secure oil. To bad the media won’t talk about this or at least until the primaries and GE are over.
Can you guys just go over there and blog something like I wrote or something as simple as: I knew the US had to be behind the Odinga Kenya election and it makes sense that it's oil
Anything!!LOL!!

This is an excellent Odinga informational blog site:
http://ajacksonian.blogspot.com/2008/01/odinga-obama-and-lack-of-courage.html
It's full of information with links. However, this blog was written back in early January so it doesn't make a US/Kenya/Obama connection.
There is, apparently, corruption and personal profit being made by Raila Odinga by being a Member of Parliament, and then using those riches to further his political aspirations. Actually the political set-up in Kenya is so chaotic that none of the candidates standing for election for President is being backed by the parties that backed them for reform in 2002. In such an atmosphere it isn't so much which party backs you as who you know that can give you backing in whatever party you wind up in, plus a good communications strategy. That, for Raila Odinga gets to be a pretty lengthy list, after his being in government and a MP for his district.
The list of his contacts that support him, just from the above, include:
Spectre International Ltd. - Odinga family business
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga - His father, deceased
Mohammar Kaddafy (or the spelling du jour)
Thabo Mbeki - South Africa
Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo - Nigeria
Energem Resources Incorporated - South Africa, Toronto Stock Exchange Listed
National Democratic Institute (NDI)
Kenneth Wollack - President NDI
Rev. Sun Myung Moon - Unification Church ( Unification Peace Tour 18 JUL 2006, Religion News Blog 26 AUG 2006, Lobbying Germany on behalf of Rev. Moon to end the entrance ban - open letter, signed )
Barack Obama - US Senator and Presidential candidate
And places with possible contacts:

That is the date that Terry MacAuiliffe told a newspaper friend that this race would be all over. The man asked him and MacAuliffe told him without any hesitation that the race will be all over by June 15th. He said it with a grin and apparently left the impression that Terry knew something important. I don't remember the article to quote but it's the truth,:cool:
Ahh Ha! Now I remember. What do they know? Could they be giving themselves a deadline? Perhaps to go to an Independent Ticket if needed? Hummm.......Inquiring minds want to know.:p

"Very interesting. 6/15/2008 event!!! Why is that date so familiar!!"
I did a search on this forum and discovered the post done by WV4Hillary on April 28, 2008, titled McAuliffe promises this will be ended by June 15. If the article being commented on was done in January of 2008, then McAuliffe's comments were four months after the article. It would give him and perhaps Lanny Davis time for discovery. Veerrrrrrrry Interrrrrrrresting. I don't know exactly what we have here? but at first I thought why would we want to make this known two months prior to the event, at least to the mass media, why not submit it in private to Hillary's team and let them check it out without tipping OB off? but, I'm sure, just like the OB campaign, they have someone whose job is to do nothing but research for anything that could be used against the opposition. Maybe this is the hot button item told to Hannity by Lanny Davis the last time he was on his Hannity and Combs show. I'm sure we all would like to know just what that conversation was all about.

But the new industry figures could also undermine one of Sen. Obama's campaign's core messages: his independence from special interests. At a recent campaign stop in Indiana, which holds a primary Tuesday, Sen. Clinton told a rally: "He took more money from oil-company executives than any candidate."
Sen. Obama raised $105,000 in March from the energy sector, compared with Sen. Clinton's $40,000, the Center for Responsive Politics analysis showed. That is the reverse of last year's pattern, when Sen. Clinton took in $790,000 in donations from energy-industry employees, compared with $647,000 for Sen. Obama.
Sen. Obama retook the lead in the defense sector in March. Overall in 2008, Sen. Obama has raised more than Sen. Clinton among defense employees.

Kenya: Let Us Not Find Revolutionaries Where There are None
by Mukoma Wa Ngugi
"Not all opposition parties are anti-imperialist or opposed to the move by global capital to consolidate the world." Kenya's opposition "Movement for Democratic Change [ODM] is a neo-liberal party" whose members move "fluidly" from government to opposition "as they position and reposition themselves, eyes on the national cake." The ODM is not a true "people's power" movement, and "can only rile up discontentment by pointing to one ethnicity rather than organizing the whole country against elite exploitation."

At both Berkeley and Stanford's websites there's no mention of any of this. PLEASE before you start emailng and sending out informaiton to Super Delegates and the Media make sure you have your information correct! Just a quck glance at both UC at Berkeley and Standord's Event's Calendars for June 2008 don't show anything relating to the above.

But just from the informaiton you provided my hoax bs meter went into overdrive. What was posted doesn't even make any sense!! This kind of thing neither helps Hillary nor us as her supporters.

If I see this thread slipping I am going to keep bumping it up.
I would suggest that if any one else thinks it's a good idea that this info be forwarded to environmental acitivist groups. I don't think this info would set well with them and they have mechanisms in place to get this info out in the open. Also (I know this is crazy) to Ron Paul. I believe he would not take lightly this country manipulating a foreign government's affairs for monetary gain. One of his principals is to honor the constitution and there is nothing in our constitution that allows this. He still has the ear of thousands, if not millions of citizens and the last I saw he has not dropped out of the race. He has nothing to loose exposing this entire thing. Of course this is just my opinion and all of you that worked so hard on this need to decide.
I am going to start working on connecting some dots myself. I invite you all to go to Odingas website and check out the blog page. There is a a blog there with the title OBAMA AND THE FUTURE KENYAN POLITICS. There aren't many posts about Obama but it will give you insght into what is going on in Kenya right now. Keep tabs on the Kenyan Times as well. Search Safaricom.
What I am interested in right now is finding out if the people who were displaced during the fighting after the elections in Kenya were on land(s) that would be used for future oil production. Also, which tribes control the land(s) where the oil is. Things of this nature.

I will post a final version for critique prior to launch. I have always suspected something was amiss - it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that - however, the dots that you have connected are eye-opening to say the least. SadState - that is an amazing letter. My questions to all out there are, "If this information has been out there all this time, why has it not been made public? Exactly what has been the reasoning behind this being kept hidden under the table? Were the repubs going to hit Obama with it full blast if he gets the nomination? Where the heck is the CIA in all this? If there is a true connection between Bush/Cheney/Obama would they release this information in order to get McCain elected and if they did wouldn't they be afraid that Obama would spill the beans, or would Obama somehow disappear? Has the Clinton camp kept this under wraps waiting for June? So many questions, too few answers. The superd's have to be aware of this, but still are coming out for Obama - is the whole government involved? Are we all afraid? This is all so mind-boggling! Heck, I was thinking in the beginning that the repubs were behind Obama just because he was an easier candidate for John McCain to beat than Senator Clinton but when I started reading about Odinga and all I suspected a little something else, but nothing to this extent! I am shaking my head in amazement!

I'm feeling the same way you are. At first the Odinga/Obama connection bothered me just because of what happened after the elections in Kenya. In light of the last two elections in this country, I'm wondering if my vote really matters at all and if we are just being conned into thinking we have a say in how our country is run. My husband and I were just talking about this and he asked "Who wrote the check to Diebold this year?"
It also struck me, wouldn't it be prudent for our country to say " Hey, we don't hate Muslims. Look how we helped Odinga. We have friends in Kenya. We support a Muslim nation." And then my head starts spinning again.

This is what has me so perplexed. Are we going to trade in our core beliefs for oil? Correct me if I am wrong. But doesn't this whole arguement about the connection between Obama/Odinga/Bush imply that this country needs Obama to be president so that we can get to oil in Africa?

I have deep remorse for voting for Bush in '04. At the time I justified it by telling myself it was the best thing for my brother, his wife and my niece and nephew. He was serving in the Air Force and stationed in Great Britian. I figured at the time the military commanders were leaving his unit where they were and maybe someone else would come in and see that they could be used differently. This was at a time when the military was taking units with his MOS and putting them on the front lines regardless of if they were Army, Marine or Air Force. I watched the elections unfold hoping that my vote wouldn't make a difference then, I saw what happened here in Ohio. It jaded me against fair elections. Our newly elected Secretary of State sent out the message the she was going to vote by absentee ballot in all upcoming elections because she doesn't trust our voting system. and still I do know that my vote does count and I want to show up at the polls to vote. I took my three year old to vote with me for our primary in Ohio and I let her hit all the buttons. I want nothing more than to take all three of my kids with me in Nov. and push the the vote button for Hllary.
BTW-at this moment my brother the airmen is on his way home with his family (3 babies now) free of his 6 yr commitment to the Air Force.

When I read that date of June 15th it hit me like ton of bricks. Terry Mcauliffe said that the race would be over by that date. He said it to an online

During that same time there also was an incident involving Lanny Davis and a FOX commentator, who's name escapes me. Hannity?? Maybe?
But during that broadcast there was mention made of some story breaking and the comentator was sworn not to mention what it was. Then there is
this whole caucus debacle in Tx. Wa. Wy. & now Guam. I know Hillary has some strong Guamanian Super D's. Then this Guam cacus debacle was made
known almost immediately. Like they wanted it to go out in the same news cycle that his win was reported in. The Tx. debacle has been eerily missing in
the news. I wonder if this was being watched in Guam and obamas thugs are busted.
Add to this Oil/Africa/Odinga/Soros/Bush/Bo connection & it makes me wonder if this is all about to be brought to light at the campaigns most opportune
time? I wonder if we should notify the campaign first. We maybe forcing their hand, before they are ready!
What do ya'll think? Should we contact them first?

Yes! This does need to get out to everyone! Although, I think it's useless to send it to most anchors on CNN or MSNBC. They all but wear Obama bumper stickers. Greta on FOX would do something with it as well as Ann Coulter.(I can't believe I even said that!)

Venezuala - Future Oil Superpower
By: Meirion Jones /BBC on: 04.04.2006 [12:16 ]
Analysis by the US Department of Energy (DoE) - seen by Newsnight - shows that at $50 a barrel Venezuela - not Saudi Arabia - will have the biggest oil reserves in Opec.
Venezuela has vast deposits of extra-heavy oil in the Orinoco. Traditionally these have not been counted because at $20 a barrel they were too expensive to exploit - but at $50 a barrel melting them into liquid petroleum becomes extremely profitable.
The DoE report shows that at today's prices Venezuela's oil reserves are bigger than those of the entire Middle East - including Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, Iran and Iraq.
The US agency also identifies Canada as another future oil superpower.
Venezuela's deposits alone could extend the oil age for another 100 years.
The DoE estimates that the Venezuelan government controls 1.3 trillion barrels of oil - more than the entire declared oil reserves of the rest of the planet.
Mr Chavez told Newsnight that "Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world. In the future Venezuela won't have any more oil - but that's in the 22nd Century."
He will ask the Opec meeting in June to formally accept that Venezuela's reserves are now bigger than Saudi Arabia's.

Venezuela Halts Oil Sales to Exxon Mobil
Posted by Prof. Goose on February 12, 2008
CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- Venezuela's state oil company said Tuesday that it has stopped selling crude to Exxon Mobil Corp. in response to the U.S. oil company's drive to use the courts to seize billions of dollars in Venezuelan assets.
Exxon Mobil is locked in a dispute over the nationalization of its oil ventures in Venezuela that has led President Hugo Chavez to threaten to cut off all Venezuelan oil supplies to the United States. Venezuela is the United States' fourth largest oil supplier.
http://www.theoildrum.com/node/3622
President Hugo Chavez on Sunday threatened to cut off oil sales to the United States in an "economic war" if Exxon Mobil Corp. wins court judgments to seize billions of dollars in Venezuelan assets.
Exxon Mobil has gone after the assets of state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA in U.S., British and Dutch courts as it challenges the nationalization of a multibillion dollar oil project by Chavez's government.
A British court has issued an injunction "freezing" as much as $12 billion in assets.
"If you end up freezing (Venezuelan assets) and it harms us, we're going to harm you," Chavez said during his weekly radio and television program, "Hello, President." "Do you know how? We aren't going to send oil to the United States. Take note, Mr. Bush, Mr. Danger."

Rezko friend: Rove was asked to dump Fitzgerald
April 23, 2008
As a federal probe into Gov. Blagojevich's administration heated up in late 2004, there were discussions between GOP powerbroker Robert Kjellander and Bush White House insider Karl Rove to oust corruption-busting U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald from his job, according to a man whom prosecutors want to testify at Tony Rezko’s trial.
Rezko — a former top fund-raiser for Blagojevich, a Democrat, and Democratic U.S. Sen. Barack Obama — also has been a big supporter of Bush, helping host a major fund-raiser for the GOP president in September 2003.

Ex-Bush Aide's Name Surfaces in Rezko Trial
Prosecutors: Possible Witness Would Testify Rove Involved in Talks to Remove U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald From Rezko Case
By JUSTIN ROOD and MELISSA MURPHY
April 23, 2008
A possible witness in the federal trial against Antoin "Tony" Rezko would testify that former White House aide Karl Rove was involved in discussions to remove U.S. attorney Patrick Fitzgerald from the brewing case against the politically-connected Chicago businessman, prosecutors reportedly said Wednesday morning.
The conversations are alleged to have occurred in 2004, prosecutors told U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve in an early-morning conference, according to a transcript of the proceedings.

"When I read that date of June 15th it hit me like ton of bricks."
Please don't latch on to that date. Howard Dean only said he wanted the Nominee chosen after the Primary was over in June. I've never heard him specifiy a date. Plus we know that there is nothing going on relating to BO, Oprah, Odinga or anything at either Berkley or Stanford on that date---that was a hoax. Also, the only other mention of the race ending on June 15th was by David Corn---who's reporting a conversation he supposedly had with McAuliffe, which to me is hardly reliable information. Plus knowing that the DNC is going to pressure the SuperDels to make up their mind in June... him choosing a middle of the road date of the 15th hardly makes him Cassandra. So at this point, there is no reason for that date to hit anyone like a ton of bricks.

Nigeria oil rebels say mulling Obama truce appeal
Sun May 4, 2008 5:22pm BST
LAGOS (Reuters) - Rebels who have stepped up attacks on Nigeria's oil industry in the last month said on Sunday they were considering a ceasefire appeal by U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has launched five attacks on oil facilities in the Niger Delta since it resumed a campaign of violence in April, forcing Royal Dutch Shell to shut more than 164,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd).
"The MEND command is seriously considering a temporary ceasefire appeal by Senator Barack Obama. Obama is someone we respect and hold in high esteem," the militant group said in an e-mailed statement.
MEND did not say when or where Obama, the leading candidate for the Democratic ticket for November's U.S. presidential election, made the appeal. It said it hoped the government would use any ceasefire to improve conditions for its detained leader, Henry Okah.

As Hundreds Die in an Oil Pipeline Explosion in Lagos, A Look At the Fight Over Nigeria’s Natural Resources
Sandy Cioffi, the director of the film “Sweet Crude,” [talks] about how the popular resistance movement in the Niger Delta continues to fight multinational oil companies for control of the country’s natural wealth.
Nigeria is Africa’s largest oil producer and the United States’ 5th largest oil supplier.
Last week, two car bombs exploded outside an oil company compound. On Saturday a car bomb exploded outside the state governor’s office in Port Harcourt. The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta or MEND claimed responsibility for the bombing. In an email to the press, the group stated that governors in the Niger delta and other political figures “have acted against the interest of the people of the Niger delta, sabotaging all efforts at resource control for selfish reasons.”
CHEVRON REP.: Niger Delta is providing almost one-third of the oil that we are producing, and a lot of that oil is shut in because of ethnic unrest, so we have flow stations, pipelines, platforms, where we can’t produce the oil, because of this enormous community unrest.
SANDY CIOFFI: Well, Nigeria is the largest producer of oil in Africa, and actually it produces more oil than Iraq and Kuwait combined. And the people of Nigeria have seen none of the revenue from that oil. So what happens, the danger in the bunkering, which is the word that’s used for people who steal oil—some people say it’s not stealing because it’s the oil that comes from their land, and they have no income. So very desperate people will actually get the equipment and go to pipelines, and they’ll puncture them to take oil and sell on the black market. It’s a very complicated thing, because you can’t just sort of walk up with a drill and do it. You have to have fairly complicated equipment. And the government claims that it’s all thieves, but they have to be involved in what’s happening, because people get in and out of the rivers in huge tankers and pass Nigerian navy. So it’s very common that people are stealing oil. It’s extremely dangerous, and explosions are not that uncommon. And that’s likely what occurred.
It's interesting, read the rest here:

Very interesting article, Brussell.
LAGOS (Reuters) - Rebels who have stepped up attacks on Nigeria's oil industry in the last month said on Sunday they were considering a ceasefire appeal by U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
The MEND group is fighting against the government for allowing the oil companies to destroy their land. There's no corporate accountability in terms of pollution that has made fishing and farming impossible for the citizens. They're also kicked off their land if the oil companies decide to drill on someone's farm. The oil is for foreign interest and it doesn't benefit the citizens. Of course it benefits the leaders of the country. We know that story!
According to Kenneth Roth of Human Rights Watch, the oil companies are to blame as is the Nigerian government. Maybe Obama shouldn't have been telling MEND to stop their attacks, but rather he should be telling the Nigerian government and the oil companies to clean up their act! Kenneth Roth has also had a lot to say about Kenya. Maybe we should email Kenneth Roth and ask him what the hell Obama is doing?
Kenneth Roth, Executive Director of Human Rights Watch, has said of the situation, "The oil companies can't pretend they don't know what's happening all around them. The Nigerian government obviously has the primary responsibility to stop human rights abuse. But the oil companies are directly benefiting from these crude attempts to suppress dissent, and that means they have a duty to try and stop it."
Militants in the Niger delta enjoy widespread support among the region's approximately 20 million people, most of whom live in poverty despite the enormous wealth generated in the oil-rich region

Nigeria: Kenyan Crisis And the Neo-Liberal Fallacy
This Day (Lagos)
This Day (Lagos)
OPINION
24 February 2008
Sam Amadi
The crisis in Kenya should move Africans and their co-travelers on the road of neoliberal economic reform to deeper thoughts. It is time to rethink neoliberal assumptions about development.
Just as the Davos concave wound down, the Open Society Institute of philanthropist Billionaire, George Soros, held its convention in Dakar, Senegal. Open Society Institute through its initiative in West Africa has done so much to create a vibrant civil society and instigate democratic accountability. As that body reviewed its work and the situation in Africa, I understand that the financier, George Soros, settled on the urgency of election monitoring in Africa. The failure of the presidential election in Kenya and how it has upset the 'stability' of a key ally of the United States in the war against terror may have moved the charitable Soros to conclude that the most urgent work in West Africa should be election monitoring in order to avert future electoral disputation that may engender ethnic violence, which invariably hinders the creation of a free society in Africa.
Africans should own the process of social discourse on African social crisis. The present condition where we are consumers of knowledge minted in New York or Davos will keep us beggarly and miserable. It does not matter whether the knowledge is those of the high priests of the World Economic Forum or of the Open Society Institute. African reformers and political leaders should not be making yearly pilgrimages to Davos and New York in search of the Holy Grail. They should look inward and hear the voice of the past.

Yes, Brussell, Venezuela is mother of all resources in the grab for oil. Much more so than Africa. BO is ideal for connections to both. Going global. Dubya has been such a rodeo cowboy in his approach. BO is the ideal antidote, smoothing the way, but the goal is the same: control of resources. The cost is going to be paid by the little guy here and abroad.

Diane,
Thanks. This is exactly what we are looking for. We want to make sure that everything we put in writing is as factual as possible. I will not start mailings for at least 2-3 days. I will post a final version for critique prior to launch. It's imperitive that we all scrutinize the final draft and I will not commence execution of same until all here at HillaryClintonForum.net are in complete agreement. Too important!
Borlah, I will continue to pluck all links from this thread and make new catagories as appropriate such as yours under "environmental". Thanks for the links!
Absolutely excellent work - KUDOS to you, and all. I think the sooner it is out the better. We will prevail.
Hillary was excellent in the Town Hall this morning. And put the Nafta issue to rest with the comment to George S that they had both agreed it would not be good for America - they had both discussed it at the time. And also brought out her backing by over 30 Generals etc. Absolutely am so proud of her.

The reason I mention this, "who's got the most to gain" might have the resources to investigate where we can't. I've sent some things to FOX regarding the caucus fraud but I think this might be a better approach on this subject. Let's give the republicans some more "negative food" to serve.

Layne, I believe they know all about Odinga just like the New York Times (which is why their moderators won't let a blog mentioning Odinga get posted). I think all MSM knows this. I've always relied on the MSM for political information and although I've always voted in the general elections, I've never been moved enough by a candidate to research beyond what the MSM reported until now. Call me ignorant but I never knew that the media was so dishonest and that they control the elections. Thank goodness for the internet because it's making it harder for the millionaire media corps to control the public. I think most people still rely on the MSM for their information but that's changing.
Fox News and the Republicans want Obama nominated just as much as the Left wants Obama. That's why the Left has such a strong censorship about what they'll report, same for the Republicans. I think most people feel that Obama will get the nomination even with the Wright controversy so Fox just has to sit back and enjoy their new ratings and not report anything more serious then the Wright story. They'll still get to claim that they were "fair and balanced" in their coverage. Of course, compared to MSNBC and CNN, but in the bigger picture, they were just as self-serving and irresponsible as MSNBC and CNN.
I think the people that need to be emailed this story are the local state papers in Indiana and NC and the other states left to hold primaries. They're the ones that are more likely not to know about Obama/Odinga. I think the state papers get their national and international news largely from the MSM.
I say blog the state's online newspapers and email them the story...or the question(s):
How can Barack Obama reconcile being a proponent of democracy and freedom while supporting the campaign of Raila Odinga, an Islamic Socialist whose goal is to replace Kenya's existing democracy with Islamic law and socialism?
As a direct result of Obama interjecting himself into Kenya's election, 1200 Kenyan's were killed during ethnic cleansing riots and 300,000 displaced. Why did Barack Obama go to Kenya and campaign for Odinga? Is this more evidence that Barack Obama has Anti-American values? Was he just naive to support Odinga's campaign? If so, he really doesn't have a clue about foreign affairs. Obama campaigned for a man who wants to replace democracy with Islamic law and socialism in Kenya, is this why he's so popular in the Middle East and among the communist leaders? How could a US Senator get in the middle of an election in another country without having the permission from the US government first? Did President Bush and his administration know about this? If so, why hasn't this been reported? How can Bush rationalize sending US soldiers to Iraq to establish a democracy while covertly overthrowing the existing democracy in Kenya?

The previous letter is very well-written. I like it. However, I think it is too long. I think it should be shortened and start out with a teaser such as:
A lot of people see the US's fixation on Middle Eastern oil resources as a problem. There is evidence that an Obama administration would replace that fixation with a US fixation on African oil resources. We believe the public should be aware of this hidden agenda. Obama represents himself as one who will focus domestically and stop trying to impose American ideals on other countries. In a nutshell, we are about to replace Bush/Cheney/Middle Eastern Oil with Obama/Soros/Odinga/Brzezinski/African Oil. This is yet another direct contradiction to the Obama "brand."
For more details including evidence for this opinion, see [the link to this thread and/or list of related links].

I posted 2 new threads yesterday asking for help but both got bumped due to, I think, the server problem so I'll post here and also try another new thread. If anyone has some time to spare, it would be very much appreciated if you could click on the link below and pick a state to work on. Then post which state you are doing (here for now) so that we don't duplicate. Once you have completed a state, please PM me with the addresses. I would like to get at least 50 SD's per day. Tonight I will gather up all the wonderful links you've put together and that will also be sent with the letter.
