Hey all,
This is another thing that we can do to help Hillary win the nomination.
We as Hillary supporters should start contacting superdelegates on her behalf.
http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/2008/01/superdelegates-who-havent-endorsed.html
This link will take you to a list of undecided superdelegates.
http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml
The above link will allow you to contact officials. Most don't have emails listed, but you can message them through the site.
Make sure your request is personal and heartfelt. It will also help to mention a few of Hillary's policies and how they will positively effect you. Pell Grants, ending predatory student loan practices, and Universal Health Care, Green collar job. Be specific on why you think Hillary will be the best President.
Please take some time to do this, Hillary needs us!

Great Idea! I'm on it! Please read my post on this forum about doing our part in Texas, Ohio and Wisconsin. I listed a way to help get to the students in the colleges in these states. Please help.

I've hit the 3 from my state, am moving onto Oregon next since they haven't had their primary then I'll work my way through the list. Am actually 30 minutes from Portland, OR and am planning on promoting her there so that what happened in my state doesn't happen there as well.
I have been keeping track of the elected officials from my state and who they support, I will remember them the next time they come around for election.
Thanks so much for this thread! I was feeling a little like sulking over todays outcome in Virginia but now I've got something I can do to help.

EXCELLENT! Soldier on! There is still HOPE for sure!! During the "down" period we must continue to campaign and do whatever we can. I am hopeful of a good outcome in Texas which will provide some much needed "electicity" to the Clinton Campaign! I purposely have not watched TV tonight as I knew the Obama Mania over the MD/DC/VA wins would depress me. So I have stayed away from it and focussed on positive actions I can take to help Hillary's cause!

Word has it she is on the fence.
So let's get her to know how we feel that Clinton will be the best candidate to win the General Election and the best President of USA.
2 Women = Power House

I hope they like each other. And hope Nancy hasn't fall under Obama's spell.

Unbelievable that she is "on the fence" if that's true. Please not another victim to fall under the spell??

Other than Pelosi, I really think we should focus on Wisonconsin, Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Keep it up. This our time.

I agree, we need to FOCUS on TX, OH and PA - these are must wins!
There are quite a few letters to Nancy Pelosi being reposted to MySpace sites. Here is a pretty good one:

A letter to Nancy Pelosi:
"I'm writing to urge you to support Hillary Clinton in the run for the white house. I was overwhelmingly moved by your appointment to the position of speaker of the house. As a woman who grew up in the 70s and 80s, I had never known a woman in such an important role and feel that you seem to handle it with poise, responsibility, talent, and you look your best - a miracle for today's busy working women. Just as I felt such inspiration from your political success, I began to receive outrageously sexist emails from men in my life complaining about you. Their claims were lies and based on sexism - that they themselves were unaware of.
I beseech you, as a strong, intelligent woman in the political arena, please do not fall victim to the same types of propaganda being spread about Hillary. On record alone, she is obviously more qualified. Obama is seductive with his charming rhetoric and his celebrity and youth following is impressive - but I fear his supporters are being seduced by an idea of what they want him to be - not what he really is. He has been involved in government for only a few years and has unprofessionally publicly attacked Hillary (as has his wife). He has the bravado to disrespect Hillary's contribution and there is a tinge of sexism in his comments about her. Hillary needs your support.
Obama's charm is seducing the nation, but what else is he offering? Only a risk - a risk that someone new will bring us our dream state. I can't think of a more irresponsible way to proceed at this critical juncture in our history. Plus, Hillary is a woman. How many times have we women had to laugh politely at blonde jokes, or women driver jokes, told by men because to be offended would be "feminist". When did feminist become a bad thing? And as Bill Richardson said, when did experience become a bad thing? As an american woman looking for inspiration and justice from my government leaders, please support Hillary"

We should also write to John Edwards. According to an article, he's concerned that Hillary's too divisive. Maybe we need to make a case that she's not.
I think we need to point out a concrete reason that Hillary as a divider is
just a myth. I think the facts that she was able to draw supporters in such a short time to pump up the donation is a solid example of her ability to bring people together and follow her lead.
I wrote this yesterday in a blog which might help. Please feel free to tweek it and use it as you seem fit. It's also important to add that we think both of them share a very similar vision to help the lower & middle class. And that they share the same work ethic, result-driven action. And Be VERY very polite, and keep in mind that he just dropped out from the race. We have to be considerate of his feeling as well.
============================================
When I read the stories of thousands of people who rush to aid Clinton funding need, I realized that I was not alone. There were thousands and thousands of us who are deeply devoted to her and her policy. For too long, we have been watching on the sideline, but just one call from her, she was able to bring us together.
She unites us to support her fight which is about families who need universal
health care, people struggling to survive the Bush economy, folks desperately trying to hold onto their homes, students grasping for the American dream.
She show us the new direction of America. And we like what we hear and we believe that she will succeed. It's a kind of believe that full of trust and confidence. And we are willing to join force and help her change the course of America.
The critiques are dead wrong. She is not a divider. She is a "true" uniter.

Seems like it isn't just the public who are falling for the Obama propaganda. Read this disturbing article about some of the superdelegates, who previously supported Hillary, now jumping ship and getting on the "change express" train to destination nowhere!
"Some black superdelegates reasses Clinton support" (CNN - Feb 14, 2008)
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/02/14/some-black-superdelegates-reassess-clinton-support/
DOES CNN EVER REPORT ANYTHING POSITIVE RELATING TO HILLARY CLINTON???? I
Seems you can buy superdelegates!
And Mr Obama is spending up big!
So much for "change" in washington!

Super D starts to switch to Obama.
If Hillary win WI, I think that might halt the exodus.
We've got to call WI voters.

Hi all,
I thought I understood about writing to superdelegates, but now I realize I don't. Is it only OK to write to superdelegates in my own state? If so, why? I had the impression it was OK to write to any superdelegate who hadn't made up their mind yet regarding who they were supporting.
Thanks for your help, as I'd really like to get my letters sent.

-Bump-
Sorry to be a pest, but I'm really hoping someone can answer my questions above about writing to superdelegates.
Part of my problem, you see, is that I live in NJ, and I think almost all NJ superdelegates have already pledged to Hillary, which is great. But I'd like to write to superdelegates in other states, as long as it's kosher.
Anyone?
You've probably already checked but here's is Hillary's official site for the SD matters:
http://www.delegatehub.com/
I had heard that you should write to the SD in your own state but I can't see why you could not write to others as well. I think writing to the SD will become more of an issue after the March 4th primaries - if Hillary does well in these we should get writing to SD asap!
