Photoshopped or not, to the average American who's not part of the DU stuff, this is *way* over the top. To the immature person who posted it, I'm sure it was funny, but, it's not. The original article linked to with the comments about McGovern's follower is looking pretty valid right now.

To someone like me who's got a special needs child (Asperger's), this is really insensitive, and really a nasty personal attack on Sarah Palin and her family, especially the way it insinuates she used Trig as a 'prop'.

A slip or two like this from Obama's supporters that make it to the print or TV media will bring an avalanche down on them. There are lines you shouldn't cross, and I don't think even Rove would have done this.

THis is beyond disgusting. I had 3 emails tonight... one from "Joe Biden", one from "Barack Obama" and one from "David Pflouffe" all telling me how awful the Republicans were at the convention, and how they attacked the little people of the world. They all 3 asked for donations.

I sent back a very pointed email telling them that as far as I was concerned there was only one candidate in the Presidential race, and that was John McCain. As an animal lover I wouldn't consider voting for Obama for dog catcher.. that would be a horrible fate for animals. Suggested he go back to community organizing. As a person who has a Down's child in the family, I assured them that crap like this sent at least 20 votes in my family to McCain.

Additionally... I sent a link to this web page AND the link to the Dem Underground to the National Down Syndrome Society. I wonder how their members will feel about this? I urge you to contact local Down Syndrome Support groups in your area!

This place has a bit higher signal-to-noise ratio than FR. I like it. I'm a bit more of a centrist anyway. The fanatics get a little shrill over there some days. I do like Jeff's write-up on Sarah, though, and those bumper stickers!

That listing is phony, it never existed on Ebay. That's not to say the concept is disgusting but here is the offending image and real Ebay listing. Notice the phony has no item number, seller id, location. also Ebay doesn't give a list of a seller's other items like that.
